Inside Restaurant Peking, Sofia Okkonen photographs a design by Henna Lampinen as part of an editorial series for S2 Magazine exploring identity through fashion, space, and cultural representation. The concept for the editorial was inspired by Muniba Rasheed’s research project, Subcontinental Helsinki.

The series approaches fashion as a form of self-representation, reflecting on how clothing, culture, identity, and environment intersect. Set within immigrant-owned restaurants across Helsinki, the images challenge fixed ideas of cultural identity through unexpected visual pairings.
