2024 Year of the Dragon 🐉 is a year of great power and auspiciousness. The NSW Registry and I have once again collaborated to deliver you the majestic “Year of the Dragon” Commemorative Birth Certificate for all NSW babies born in 2024!!! 🐲🐲🐲 This year we have also launched the entire 12 Chinese Zodiacs commemorative birth certificate designs covering Lunar New Years 2020-2031. 🧧🥠🏮 The “Year of the Dragon” Birth Certificate presents luck, strength, wealth and power. Depicting a beautiful dragon with their baby dragon, dancing and playing in the uplifting mists and waves of the Bombo Headlands in NSW’s South Coast. And in ancient Chinese folklore, dragons are known as Gods of the Seas. I wish everyone an amazingly successful Year of the Wood Dragon in 2024, and let’s all dive in 🌊!!! @weddingsbytheregistry @visitnsw @kiamansw @destination_nsw #australianchinese #lucywang #ruxi #artist #orientalbrushpainting #yearofthedragon #2024 #commemorative #birthcertificate #newsouthwales #nswregistryofbirthsdeathsandmarriages #bomboheadland #kiama #nswsouthcoast #southcoast #sea #ocean #waves #dragon #chinesedragon #babydragon #basaltcolumns #basalt #painting #artwork #art #nswcoast #nsw #visitnsw #dharawalcountry by @ruxi_w
Recently, I’ve visited @visitnewcastle to capture the unique landscape of the Melaleuca wetland inside the @hunterwetlands centre. Thus resulted in the creation of - “Wetland Drakes: Nature meets Magic”. “Amidst the tranquillity of the Melaleuca swamp of The Hunter Wetlands Centre, an enchanting fusion of nature and mysticism unfolds as the ethereal beauty of the wetlands is intertwined with the hidden allures and aesthetics of the mystical dragon – a potential guardian of the delicate wetland ecosystem. Its coiling ‘body’ weaves through the twisted branches of the fallen Melaleuca trees, embodying the symbiotic relationship between the conscious natural realm and the subconscious metaphysical domain. Together, they collaboratively shape the tapestry of our reality.” The artwork is for the 2024 “East Meets West” exhibition by @uni_newcastle Confucius Institute and Dr. @fandongwang. Meanwhile, 25% of all sale proceeds will go to support the conservation and education programs of the @hunterwetlands. Currently on show at the @hunterwetlands Centre from 2 Feb to 29 Feb 2024. 🌿🦎🪶 (The artwork is SOLD) . . #hunterwetlandscentre #newcastle #lucywang #ruxi #artist #chinesebrushpainting #contemporaryart #orientalpainting #dragon #wetland #magpiegoose #melaleuca #landscape #mysticalcreatures #swamp #marsh by @ruxi_w
