I shot a roll of film at RAADfest this past Sunday.
Congrats to the organizers and artists for putting on such an amazing show. Proceeds from this show were donated to @sacredheartcenter_rva which is an organization that helps immigrants with everything from adult education to legal services. If you couldn’t make it to the show you can still make donations at shcrichmond.org.

The ruling class’s investment in things like mass surveillance, AI, and networks of private prisons reveal their disdain for the dignity and freedom of the working class. They would recreate the plantation system in a heartbeat if they could. In times like this it is important that we stand up and say No we won’t go there and No we won’t let you put other people there either.

shoutout to @pslvirginia and @rva.aad for organizing this benefit festival in support of the Sacred Heart Center and the Richmond Immigration Center! events like this remind us that community care is resistance. art, music, and collective action can bring people together, amplify voices, raise resources, and create spaces where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to fight for one another. i am so grateful to have been there to document the love, joy, and solidarity📸
