This past week I had the opportunity to portray Thomas Jefferson for a reception at the Virginia State Capitol. As a @uva graduate, it’s always an honor to appear as TJ! #rva #virginiaisforlovers #virginiastatecapitol by @rvamarkp
32 years ago today I married @caryn.bp Our first dance was to the song playing in the background! This picture was taken on one of our early dates to Kings Dominion… ❤️❤️❤️ by @rvamarkp
Just another day portraying the father of our country at @stjohnschurchfoundation 📸 via inssist.com by @rvamarkp
Thirty-six years ago today my final show at UVA opened! April 19th 1990. I found this program in a box a few weeks ago. As you browse the cast list, you might see a few names you recognize… I don’t remember much about the actual performances, but the rehearsal process was a blast. @virginiaplayers @seanpthomas @howardovershown @jb_jennyb by @rvamarkp

This past week @caryn.bp and I had an amazing dinner at @theblueheroncc in Charles City County. Recently reimagined and reopened by our friend Billy Bryan. Check it out! Located right on the Chickahominy River, you can either drive there, or pull your boat right up to the dock! by @rvamarkp

COSTUMES!!! One of the best things about being an actor are the awesome costumes I get to wear. Here’s a selection of some of my favorites through the years. There are too many to post them all… See my latest cool costumes at @vareptheatre in “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”. Running now through January 12th at the November Theatre! @richmondshakespeare @thelynntheatre #rvatheatre #varepcharlie #visitrichmond #musicaltheatre #rvafamily by @rvamarkp
My latest show, CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, opens this Saturday, December 7th at @vareptheatre. Almost exactly 26 years ago, I opened my first show with THE REP (It was Barksdale Theatre back then). A production of SHE LOVES ME starring one of my current CHARLIE cast mates, @debrawagoner! What a wonderful trip it’s been… I hope you can make it out to see this one. It’s a sumptuous, delectable holiday treat for the whole family!!! #rva #varepcharlie #rvatheatre by @rvamarkp
While rehearsing a production of #charlieandthechocolatefactory, it seems appropriate to have a candy table… Opening December 7th in the November Theatre at @vareptheatre ! #perks #varep #thecandymancan #rvatheatre #musical #rvafamily #varepcharlie by @rvamarkp
