Not sure how well our newest temp #intern will work out, but he shows a lot of promise in #drafting and #architecture interest. 🐶 Thank you to Steve and Staci from Zettel Group for dropping by! We enjoyed meeting Gunther and wish him much success on the pupper front. As always, collaboration is key when it comes to certain projects and we couldn’t be happier to work with Zettel on something recent. #teamwork taken in Henderson, Nevada by @rwa_design

Huge congratulations to our neighbors and clients at @nalascocina for their first weekend soft opening! We’re incredibly grateful to share the experience with you and are big fans of your menu! Richardson Wetzel Architects are happy to work with local companies, such as Nalas! There was excitement and smiles from our team to get a sneak peek 👀 at the menu, and taste all the delicious flavors Nalas has to offer. The smiles were especially bright from Steven who worked on the furniture plan and we all now have our favorite cozy mini booth to catch up on social media in #architecture 🙌 Give them a visit and tell them RWA sent you! #lasvegas #henderson #nevada #restaurant 🥞 🍳 🥘 🍽️ taken in Henderson, Nevada by @rwa_design

A new fine dining concept by famed chef and restaurateur, Wolfgang Puck, Caramá is a tribute to his mother and chef, Maria. RWA worked closely with Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group’s designers, to conceive and deliver a refined yet whimsical dining venue. Located inside the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip, the design for this restaurant blends the warmth and charm of old-world Italy with an elevated modern flare. RWA provided full-service architectural and engineering design services for this renovation of the previous much-loved Wolfgang Puck’s Lupo restaurant. • #architecture #design #wolfgangpuck #restaurant by @rwa_design

Located in the heart of the Downtown Las Vegas Arts District, the newest concept brought forward in conjunction with Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group, 1228 Main was envisioned as an opportunity to bring a San Francisco vibe to the desert. Rooted in Chef, David Robins’, love for baked goods, 1228 Main combines a café, neighborhood bar, and an upscale dining experience into a single venue. taken in Arts District, Las Vegas by @rwa_design

We are excited to announce that Richardson Wetzel Architects is a part of the design team led by HNTB and Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) for the new Athletics’ Stadium. Occupying 9 acres, on the famed Las Vegas Strip, the design for the new 33,000-seat A’s ballpark features a dramatic domed roof structure comprised of five overlapping pennant arches. The sweeping curves provide much needed shading from the harsh desert sun, while offering panoramic views of the vibrant cityscape. Building upon our successful collaboration with HNTB on the Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium, we are honored to contribute to the next iconic architectural addition to the Las Vegas skyline. #rwadesign #rwarchitects #richardsonwetzelarchitects #design #baseball #baseballstadium #lasvegas #athletics by @rwa_design

More from our Nacho Daddy 4th Street project! The interior material palette is rustic and robust, with a nod to the original character of the building. The design features exposed CMU block and the original wood ceiling joists in some areas. Durable and long-lasting polished concrete flooring, exposed steel beams, and cold-rolled steel cladding impart and industrial sensibility. Wood furnishings and wall treatments, along with brick accents add warmth and balance the aesthetic. taken in Downtown Las Vegas by @rwa_design

Originating in Las Vegas, Nacho Daddy is a Mexican-American restaurant and bar that has been featured on Food Network and the Travel Channel. Looking to establish a presence in the heart of the redeveloped Downtown Las Vegas Entertainment District, this playful, tongue in cheek brand hired RWA to bring their space to life. RWA provided planning, architecture, and interior design services to create a vibrant dining experience within an aged, 7,000 square foot existing structure. With a low ceiling and minimal street presence, the original space was dark and uninviting. RWA’s transformative design cut through the roof to create a raised ceiling, with clerestory windows, above the bar at the center of the dining room. The front façade was replaced with wall-to-wall accordion fold glass doors which open to the patio dining area, allowing full engagement with the high volume of pedestrian traffic. RWA provided site planning, architecture, and interior design for this integrated, multi-tenant storage complex. The facility sits on a 4-acre site with multiple buildings housing a range of self-storage units, a reception area and office, resident manager’s living quarters, and parking for vehicles, RVs, trailers, and boats. The design features a welcoming glass storefront system at the main entry, accented by vibrant red metal panels, a shade canopy, and angled roofline. The metal and composite panel façade combines multiple profiles, textures, and sheens to provide visual interest. CMU block walls wrap the site to ensure secure access. by @rwa_design

RWA was tasked with transforming a decades-old convenience store into an elevated indoor/outdoor café compatible with the surrounding desert landscape. Working closely with the Starbucks corporate design team, RWA applied the brand standards to create a unique destination-inspired design. The overall concept centered on bringing the ‘outside to the inside’ while mitigating the harsh environmental conditions. by @rwa_design

JSX offers private charter flights with service to select destinations throughout the United States. When the decision was made to relocate their Las Vegas operations to an existing private hangar, they reached out to RWA for the renovation. The nearly 30,000 sf facility is located at Reid International Airport Executive Terminal and includes a hangar passenger waiting area, and operations offices. The design drew upon the existing corporate colors and brand standards to create a comfortable check-in and lounge area for guests awaiting their flight. Creating a visual connection between the waiting area and the hangar was central to the design concept and required the inclusion of a 1-hour rated wall to comply with fire and life safety codes. Schedule and logistics were critical to the success of this project. RWA worked closely with the client, and the general contractor to maintain the aggressive schedule – expediting design and obtaining permits to successfully meet the fixed opening date. Attention and coordination were also required to ensuring uninterrupted operations during the construction process through to a successful completion. @flyjsx MEP - HPA Consulting Engineers Structural - @wrightengineers Civil - Horrocks Engineers by @rwa_design
