Great weekend of golf hosted by my frat brother D. Dvorak. Talisker Club (Tuhaye Course) put on a great event with perfect conditions in spite of the couple of downpours with hail. Weather changes fast in the Wasatch Range, UT. Ham and egged all weekend. Nice to bring home the hardware. First member guest win in about 40 events. Loved the hockey theme events (putting contest with a hockey stick and slapshot on live goalie) by @rwat1430

Trip of a lifetime to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Crazy to think it all began in the Beanery (Rollins alums understand). Lauren planned everything and she was flawless. From Paris, to Venice, to Tuscany, to Sardinia.
Big flex to spend all these years with the person who makes everything better. May our love, health and happiness live on forever! by @rwat1430

Unfortunately, we have lost our Best Boy Zeppelin! It has really been a struggle and gut punch. The screen is blurry as we muster up the courage to finally let him go. The feeling that he is gone after 12 years is unbearable.

Writing about him will never really capture who he was or what he meant to our family. Those who have grieved understand. The adage “it’s better to love and lost, than never loved at all” may be true but the pain is never any less.

Peeking into who Zeppelin was, you would see that he fancied himself as the local neighborhood mayor checking in to make sure everyone was doing ok and never met a person he didn’t like. When he wasn’t shaking hands he was seeking out the best sock, shoe, glasses or remote to hide behind the kitchen table. If something was missing you would look there first. He didn’t just do this with our stuff, any house guest or neighbor who forgot to close their door was fair game.

He loved his daily walk. As he grew older, I’m not sure if his early am paw reminder was more for him or for us as he always wanted to please.

Soulmate is a term that is often used. Not sure that is adequate either.

Until we meet again Best Boy! We Love you with every part and portion of our being. by @rwat1430

Happy Mother’s Day! Wish you were still here in person. Looking back on some of these pics helps me remember all the things we did together from wiping my nose and butt, to taking me to the beach and stroller rides, to helping me with French to leading by example on what it takes to be a wonderful human being who puts others before oneself. Sure do miss our Sunday calls. Pls give Dad a kiss. We love you very much. by @rwat1430

Orange Tree was well represented in the Tommy Thomas Vegas ProAm at Red Rock CC. Three rounds bogey free and a combined (-61) over the three days. Great playing Kenwood, Richard, Mark, and Paul. by @rwat1430
