I had the privilege today to attend a ceremony to which Brandon and several of his coworkers were recognized by NASA in appreciation of their exceptional contributions to the success of the Artemis II mission. Each recipient was awarded a beautiful plague that held a patch that flew around the moon with the crew.

I know there were several people who you thought should be standing right next to you just as deserving, but your work ethic and golden retriever tendencies stuck out to someone (or someones) . You are more than deserving of this recognition!

To say I am proud is an understatement - the countless hours spent building the Orion capsule at our facility the continued support to the ground support team prior to launch, and the post launch support out in San Diego days after splashdown to recent times helping to reprocess - all mattered for this historic mission!

Congratulations B and to all the other recipients- like his Team Lead, Bekah who is also from Maine (and a certifiable BadAss). She humored me with a Mainah photo- while she proudly rocked her beautiful Maine necklace!

What an honor - your family (near and far) are so incredibly proud of you! by @rwest3325
