We came into trading chasing money, but somewhere along the way, we built discipline, patience, emotional control, and a better version of ourselves. The money is the goal, but the person you become along the way is the real reward.

Swipe right to see my top stock picks for tmr. These are not price predictions. I am not trying to guess where these stocks are going to go next. This is not financial advice. As always do your own due diligence.

All charts shown are on the daily chart timeframe and these are posted from the perspective of a day trader. I am simply sharing my trading plan publicly in hopes that it helps you understand what good technical analysis looks like, and what high probability set ups look like.

I will be trading live tomorrow if you want to join my team, you know where to find me. I hope that this analysis helps. See ya tmr! #rwgates #learntotrade #howtotrade #technicalanalysis by @rwgates

That first trip you take with money you made trading will always hit different. Not because of the destination, the hotel, or how much you spend, but because you know exactly what it took to get there. Every hour spent studying charts, every loss you learned from, every early morning, and every moment you wanted to give up played a part in making that trip possible.

There’s something different about being able to look around and realize that your trading profits paid for this. You didn’t get lucky overnight. You put in the work, took the risks, learned the lessons, and stayed consistent long enough to turn a skill into an opportunity. That first trip is more than a vacation. It’s proof that the time you invested in yourself can pay you back in ways that go far beyond a bank account.

The money is great, but the freedom it buys you is the real reward. And once you experience that feeling for the first time, you’ll never look at trading the same way again.

Is this how I need to act as a mentor to get clout online as a trading mentor?

#rwgates #furu #tradingmentor #tjrclips by @rwgates

I am one of the FEW legit mentors out there who will actually give you receipts on my trades. Time stamps don’t lie. Ask any other mentor to do this amount of work and they won’t or they can’t.

So if you need help with your trading come join the team my friends! Hope this helps you learn what confirmation looks like when trading.

THE TOP 5 BOOKS I RECOMMEND FOR LEARNING HOW TO DAY TRADE

1. How to Day Trade for a Living by Andrew Aziz

If you’re new to day trading, this is one of the first books I’d recommend. It covers trading setups, risk management, trading psychology, and how to build a structured approach instead of randomly buying and selling stocks.

2. The Daily Trading Coach by Brett N. Steenbarger

Day trading isn’t just about finding entries. It’s also about controlling your emotions, recognizing bad habits, and improving your execution. This book gives you practical exercises to develop the mental discipline needed to become a better trader.

3. Trading in the Zone by Mark Douglas

This is a must-read for understanding the psychological side of trading. It teaches you to think in probabilities, accept uncertainty, and stop allowing the outcome of one trade to control your next decision.

4. The Art and Science of Technical Analysis by Adam Grimes

This book helps you understand market structure, price action, and how to determine whether a trading strategy has an edge. It’s especially useful if you want to move beyond memorizing patterns and start understanding why certain setups may work.

5. One Good Trade by Mike Bellafiore

This book focuses on developing the skills and habits that professional traders use to improve. It emphasizes preparation, reviewing your trades, learning from mistakes, and focusing on execution rather than judging every decision by its immediate result.

Nearly 10 years of trading has taught me that reading books alone won’t make you profitable. You still need screen time, a strategy you understand, proper risk management, and the discipline to follow your rules.

But if you’re serious about learning, these books can help you build a much stronger foundation.

Save this list for your next trip to the bookstore.
