When her mother's outrageous theory about his whereabouts starts to gain traction, Karya decides to put it to the test. With her best friend, she devises a twisted online experiment, setting a hook in the darkest corners of the internet. 🆘🆘🆘

Nobakht Crowds in Isfahan took to the streets and gathered outside the prison where cranes had been erected knowing this meant hangings were imminent, despite the screams of the crowd, two of the protesters were hanged, the fate of the third-the cousin of one of the executed, who was brought out is unclear. Reportedly a young woman who joined the crowd trying to stop the executions was shot and killed. Many more political prisoners are in grave danger, most urgently those listed above, as the regime has accelerated its already highest per capita in the world rate of executions. These are public hangings of protesters who want basic human rights and freedom from this regime, convicted in sham trials to instill fear in a population that overwhelmingly is against this regime and has been fighting it from the beginning. They are beaten, coerced, their families threatened, and raised up by a crane with a noose around their necks. Free Iran. by @rxannahope

🆘🆘🆘 UPDATE The Islamic Republic hanged Abolfazl Sepahi and Amirhossein
Safari. They were executed at dawn with the morning call to prayer. Publicly hanged from cranes.
Reports that Alireza Sepahi, cousin of Abolfazl Sepahi was also brought out to be hanged and suffered a heart attack just before execution and was taken away, he is still in danger of execution. Crowds had gathered outside the prison including family of the protesters to try to stop the executions. Security forces fired on them and chased them down. At least one person has been reported killed, a young woman named Anahita Azarshab, a psychology student. These young people were protesting for their basic human rights. This particular case involved 12 people from the January protests. Two were executed last week. Two more now. The others are in grave imminent risk of execution. #stopexecutionsiniran by @rxannahope

Once upon a time with my grandmother. Well into her 90s here. 💚🤍❤️🦁 We would take her on outings in Texas when she visited and people reacted like they were seeing a celebrity. Strangers would walk up and ask to meet her. Something about her age and sweetness attracted them. She was tiny and frail and didn’t speak English but she would nod and smile and give a queen mother like wave of her hand at her forehead in acknowledgment of her fans. We would say Aziz do you understand they just want to meet you and say hello and she’d smile and rapidly bob her head, communicating a ‘yes yes this happens all the time.’ by @rxannahope
