Had the pleasure of attending today’s @fosterlove volunteer event. I got to listen to Aliscia Brorman share her story growing up in foster care & how much of an impact this organization has had on the trajectory of her life. I’ll be honest, I teared up multiple times listening to @thealivue share her story like how she was handed a trash bag as a kid when she entered foster care for all her belongings or not being celebrated for her birthday until her teenage years. Having kids of my own, my stomach dropped multiple times hearing what these kids go through.

The foster love foundation has a goal to eliminate all trash bags that Foster kids are being handed by replacing them with duffel bags filled with goodies such as blankets, handmade cards, toiletries, stuff, animals, etc… Today, we were able to make a positive contribution for the kids that are going through one of the most difficult times of their lives. I am grateful to experience the joy of giving back to this cause. I truly feel like I made an impact today during volunteer week at Schwab. I am so grateful to work for a company that empowers their employees to carve out time to give back to the community 🫶 taken in Westlake, Texas by @rxsalindaaa

No matter where we are, you can find us with a smile 😁 Had an amazing weekend with my mini me 💖 She did not nap all weekend due to FOMO, but was totes worth it! Isabella’s first time egg hunting this year, & she decided half way she was over it lol. In that last photo you can tell 🤣 she’s like bye mom, ill be in my house if you need me by @rxsalindaaa
