For a while…I was in such a funky headspace i didnt wanna do anything for my bday. This album gave me something to celebrate. Pouring into it and giving it life was subconsciously doing the same for me and my mental state.

Out of nowhere, everything just started working out for me. Although the Ls ive taken haven’t gone anywhere, I have ALOT of W’s to celebrate. So thats where my focus has been.

I wasnt gonna do anything for my bday. I was so overwhelmed by all the challenges ive been faced with lately. It was giving “aint shit to celebrate😣” But the more i started to pour life into this project the more my own life started to stabilize and unfuck itself🥹

Feels like when people take care of pets or plants when theyre down and the act of nurturing something inadvertently makes you start being a little nicer to yourself☺️

3 days away from “Wet Paint” (& 29👴🏾)

I pulled from some real experiences in my life to cook up this project. My music is raw, emotional, loud, and unfinished in the best way. This isn’t polished marble, it’s wet paint.
Identity is still drying.
Love is still drying.
Healing is still drying.

I’m still considering a small listening event🤔

“Wet Paint” isnt just a collection of songs.
Its a world birthed from rebellion, growth, and vulnerability.
The loud colors and graffiti feel like my thoughts and experiences splattered all over the walls in my mind. Every layer covers an old one without completely erasing it.
The mess isn’t something to hide; it’s proof that something is being created. It’s chaotic but beautiful🎨

“Wet Paint” is an album focused on becoming.
Wet paint hasn’t dried yet. It’s unfinished, evolving, and can still change. Its about discovering who you are instead of pretending you’ve already figured it all out.
Every “Wet Paint” sign is a warning. It tells people, “Be careful how you interact with this.” It creates boundaries.
Wet paint smears. It drips. It gets messy. Instead of hiding those imperfections, the album embraces them.
Its a reminder to be unapologetically authentic

Happy Leo Szn🦁♌️

Life been crankin that Soulja Boy on my ass heavy, but i noticed as leo szn approached, the urge to let my birthday cosplay as a regular day has been shriveling up like a slug in a salt storm. So in the name of doing SOMETHING for my day, I’ll be putting out a VERY under-promoted album called “WET PAINT” and maybe (MAYBE) do a small listening event for her.

“Wet Paint” felt like a perfect tittle for where I am in life lately. It emphasizes themes like love (in romantic and plutonic relationships), heart break, authenticity, duality, growth and discovery, & new beginnings. Even though these are some heavy themes, It’s supposed to feel fun. Mark your calendar for 7/30. New music and a possible listening event coming soon🤫🥳♌️
