RELEASE DAY!!! 🌩️⚡️🌩️⚡️🌩️⚡️🌩️

i’m sosososo happy this is finally out in the world. this song was such a turning point for me creatively and being able to bring it to life feels so amazing. when i first wrote it, i was angry and wanted it to be an edgy rock-esque song, and as time went on the song bloomed into something so joyful and organic. the production really mirrors the closure and freedom i feel now. i’m so glad you all get to listen!

so many people helped make this song what it is. huge shoutout to @ry.wav_ for creating this magical soundscape with me and for putting up with all my picky mixing notes when i had too many thoughts😛

thank you to the incredible musicians who lent their talents to this song: the dreamy and vibey electric guitar you hear is by @danielyjk , the bass and incredible piano was @ry.wav_ , and the drums (and stomps and claps!) were done by @sethdeebo ! 🤩🤩

special thanks to @beckslipshultz who helped me throughout the campaign as a project manager and now as a friend and fellow musician, and thank you @plaiddogrec for helping me make this dream come true!!!🩷🩷

and of course thank you to my band @twohourparking.nh @emlowery17 @joseph_kayan @colinwarddrums for being the first people to help bring this song to life at battle of the bands and our gigs 🅿️🅿️ TOOP FOREVER!!!

more to come soon :))

ROOT FOR LOVE IS OUT NOW!

The single, root for love is out today on BandCamp!

This song has been with me a long time. The title came to me years ago while I was recovering from a life-threatening illness. The verse came later in every year since, it’s felt more true.
