Proud to show you my new illustration of a character named Dahlia. ✨

Dahlia was raised in a carnival under the watchful eye of her patron, the Verdant Masquerade. To the Masquerade’s dismay, a toxic blight began to spread rapidly throughout the Feywild, threatening to consume its beauty and magic.

In a desperate bid to uncover the source of this corruption, he sent Dahlia into the Material Plane, carrying a vessel of his essence.

Gifted with the uncanny ability to shapeshift and steal faces, Dahlia now walks the mortal world. With her otherworldly power and an elegant, ballerina-like fighting style, she cuts a path through the unknown, serving her master’s will.

Hope you like it guys ✨ 🌟

As a denizen of the Feywild, the circumstances surrounding Dahlia's birth gave way to her mysterious and powerful abilities, like changing her appearance at will.

A by-product of the changeling race, this innate ability serves her well, both in negotiation and manipulation.
As of present, no one could hazard a guess as to her true form.

Having a wonderful time playing with copic markers, I've been sleeping ok them for so long!

It's taken me years to take steps towards making art for me, for fun, my way... but I'm really happy to say I'm getting there. 🐦

I wish anyone else reading this all the luck in the world when it comes to finding your inner creative child, and doing art for it's purest and highest purpose - to make you happy. ✨️

Enjoy! :)

It's been an emotional time for me, and some days I wake up and feel so strange because I feel I've changed so much that I'm unsure of who I am...

I think this has been reflected in my art. I've taken some deliberate choices through my personal work to draw what I find fun - and to focus less on results. Making my art is important to me, and I think that's enough :).

In January, a good artist friend of mine visited me here in Belfast.

One day we were sat in the café, and she was drawing these beautiful dinosaurs!

I came up with the fun idea of drawing a scene from the café, but instead of the customers being human, they were all replaced dinosaurs!

Fast forward 3 months and I got around to drawing it! This drawing is a scene from the back of Caffé Nero, University Road, right next to Queen's University. Enjoy! 🦖🦕
