Excited to announce that Saint Just is now represented by @swampbooking for live performances in Europe.

Saint Just brings together Kyle Kidd alongside Ryan Mahan and Lee Tesche of Algiers — a collaboration born from years of shared history and a desire to build something new together.

Across performances with Lonnie Holley and Moor Mother, appearances at Le Guess Who?, NPR Tiny Desk, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Lincoln Center, and Walker Art Center, and collaborations spanning music, opera, theater, and visual art, the path to this project has been years in the making.

We’re excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to perform and share what’s coming next.

We are thrilled to finally announce Saint Just.

Saint Just is Kyle Kidd / MOTHERBOARD, Ryan Mahan, and Lee Tesche.

Formed between New York, Colorado, and Baltimore, Saint Just emerged through a shared desire to create a borderless sound — one that dissolves binaries and moves freely between intensity, vulnerability, spirit, rhythm, and noise.

Drawing from years of work across underground music and radical art spaces, the project exists as an act of world-building: rooted in trust, transformation, and the belief that music can still confront, reveal, and commune.

Our first single and video, “You Betta,” is out now via Bandcamp.

“Algiers members team up with Kyle Kidd AKA MOTHERBOARD for righteous banger ‘You Betta’.” — The Quietus

The Left Berlin is proud to announce a very special Film Club session dedicated to two key moments in the history of the Black Panther Party.

🗓 Saturday, May 23, 2026
⌚ From 6:30 pm (films start at 7pm)
📍Refuge Worldwide, Niemetzstraße 1
🎟 Suggested donation: 2€-5€ (limited capacity)

We begin with Agnès Varda’s “Black Panthers” (1968). The short film focuses on the protests following the arrest of its co-founder, Huey P. Newton, for the murder of police officer John Frey in 1967.

Next, we will present, in an exclusive Berlin premiere, ”The Black Panthers of Algeria”, a short film that closely examines the history of solidarity between The Black Panthers and the Algerian revolution.

Following the screening, there will be a Q&A session with director @mohamedbenloulou and Ryan Mahan (@ryan_algiers), a member of @algierstheband.

*To cover the venue fee, we suggest a small donation fee starting at 2 euros. taken in Refuge Worldwide by @ryan_algiers
