A little late posting, but crazy start to an awesome weekend. Witnessed a roll over about 5 cars up from me on the highway (yes i stopped and driver was miraculously ok), got a nice 4:30am fire alarm/evacuation at the hotel before starting a 2 day class with Empirical Concepts at the Belton Gun Club. Day 1 was a USPSA match squadded with the instructors and day 2 was them teaching us how to get better based on what they observed at the match (a lot for me 🤣.) Look them up and give them a follow, take a class with them, you will not regret it i promise you that! I will be taking as many more as i can. Met an awesome group of guys and look forward to shooting with in the future. Heck we even got a surprise cameo from my boi @turbomansports who joined in on the fun and spread some knowledge. The @trigger.tech Ace for Gen 6 was flawless and magnificent! by @ryan_empirical_concepts

What a weekend. Full of shooting, hanging out, meeting new people, getting great instructions and details on how to just be better. Big thanks to @beltonuspsa for the match Saturday. First time shooting a Glock in a long time. 13 in carry optics and 22 overall out of 74 people. Followed up Sunday with @ryan_empirical_concepts for a private class, focusing on movement, transitions, trigger prep and some final thoughts on how to train for advancements. Thanks to @ae.shooting for his amazing help on breaking down the mental game of fast splits and slow transitions. A Game-changer training class. by @ryan_empirical_concepts

If a local club hosted an all IPSC match with 7 stages how far would you drive to shoot it? by @ryan_empirical_concepts

Once again, we find ourselves at Stage 6. This time, it’s Squad 501 which was called Empirical Concepts. The timers are synced up but it doesn’t look like it. There’s basically a photo finish at the end though. The full 4K version is on the casual Shooters Podcast YT channel. by @ryan_empirical_concepts

First match with the @mclearncustompewpews Gladius was a fast one, amd one I wish were under different circumstances.

The 1st annual @ericthejackson Memorial match was a huge success, raising over $12K for Erics family, while bringing together the community in Erics honor, in true Eric fashion.

Shooting all of his stage designs and drag racing with @danielmc171 and @tripp_patterson33 in Erics flowing/hoser stages brought us back to all of those weekends doing the same with him.

Reach out to those that have made an impact on your life and let them know, as you never know when the last time you'll be able to.

MCG is proud to welcome our newest member to the team Ryan Lee! @ryan_empirical_concepts is a great guy who can shoot pretty darn good. He first shot MCG last year when he borrowed a buddies gun for Racegun Nationals and quickly fell in love with the 2011 platform. Since then he's tried several other brands and decided to hang his hat on MCG and we're glad he did!

"The 4.6" Gladius with a steel grip is the most natural shooting pistol I have ever picked up. From the very first round, the gun immediately stood out from every other 2011 I've shot. The confidence it inspires gives me an edge and allows me to push the envelope of speed and accuracy."

Ryan is also an instructor who (from what I've heard of his students) does a fantastic job explaining the concepts of competition shooting and demonstrates everything he teaches. He also shoots how he teaches which is exactly what you want in an instructor. So if you're in the Carolinas make sure you reach out to him for a class 🤙🏽

Use his code ECT26 to save some money and get free mags with your order!

@theuspsa 2026 Handgun Nationals Stage 3.

Fixed Time stages have always been a thorn in my side. I've struggled to find the right pace to push. Rushed this one a little too much and dropped a NPM through the wall on target 5, but 3 C on the rest of the stage with time to spare.

Stage 4 of the @theuspsa 2026 Handgun Nationals

Was having some fun with this one, but nearly ended in disaster as 2 makeups and no reload on a 22 round stage left me with an empty chamber on unload and show clear.

Was a little late getting my gun up on the tux, but otherwise a pretty decent run here.

Stage 5 from @theuspsa 2026 Handgun Nationals

One of a few I was able to actually execute on by day 3. Only C on the stage was on the headboard, and a half second added at the end with extra shots thanks to the sun for stealing my dot.

Stage 18 at @theuspsa 2026 Handgun Nationals

Not having a terrible performance, but not a great one either this weekend.

Stages are absolutely fantastic, huge props to the match organizers.

6 more stages today to see where we end up.
