There are 58 summits in Colorado that reach 14,000 feet above sea level. Fewer than 4,000 people have climbed them all... I’m going to be one of them.

Summit 59 will be Mount Whitney in California, where I’ll complete my first mountain film project.

I started on June 1, 2024, when I climbed Mount Elbert in Colorado.

Mountain sports are the final frontier of human capability: climbing, snowboarding, filming, and flying the drone—all while facing the elements.

This is the ultimate test to launch my mountain film career.

Leme break it down for ya 🕺

1: Prepare Your Body 💪
- The season starts before the season! Save your body now! Go start walking, biking, running, stretching, lifting, and feed yourself as best you can. IT WILL PAY OFF. So many people blow it off, I get it it’s not the most enjoyable. But if you want to keep doing this sport for years to come and be able to share it with your friends and family in the future you have to respect that your body is the tool taking you on the adventure. Reduce your risk of injury. ALSO just makes you feel better when ur in ur day to day life off Mtn too.

2: Don’t Waste Money ❌
- Facebook Marketplace… need I say more?
- Season pass? Even if you work part time at a resort, you get a free pass! Some say it’s silly but I believe working for a resort helps you understand all the rules and respect needed on the mountain (both written or unwritten) Get to know some of the Ski Patrollers, a lot of them are really cool ppl. Get to know kitchen staff, they might give ya a lil extra when ordering. Even meeting other instructors and trainers, there are some ski legends who run these resorts and getting to learn from them is a lot of fun :)

3: Remember to Have Fun 🤪
- That’s why we started. After riding for a while you might experience goal chasing where you want the next trick or you want to drop a bigger cliff. Then you get home one day after not getting that clip and ur not happy with ur day. Remember why you’re there. Think back to the FIRST time you played in snow. Some experienced it at 4 others at 24 but the experience is the same. That magic of experience frozen water falling from the sky, and then for some reason wanting to jump and play in it even though it’s freezing… it’s just fun. DON’T FORGET IT 🙌🏼

Always the best feeling to be reminded why you started a hobby. For me, it’s climbing mountains, and going on an adventure with my friends! Sometimes when chasing a goal you can loose the spirit of what made you want to start in the first place. It’s ok to look around and enjoy the journey. Cause once you hit the summit nothing really changes, just another tally on the board of stories to look back on and talk about the good times you had with good friends 🏔️🏕️
