Really happy I got to go, drove poorly the entire weekend, had a great time and learned a lot

Definitely made the worst move of my career in the feature, but I got to follow a really good driver and learn how to not fuck every corner

No karting pics from nj ckna but I had amazing pace on Saturday. I weighed 366 in morning practice cause I wasn’t there on Friday and took 20 pounds off and ended up at 338 for quali so I must’ve lost a kidney stone or something

I got to top 5 at the beginning of the sat final and my clutch didn’t do it’s job and I am now missing a clutch shoe, new chain broke into three piece 😢

Sunday just had no pace

Also Ryan miller p2 in ckna points, could’ve had the champ if he didn’t drive himself off at Lafayette…. Max p5 too

Multitasking ❌

Round 2 of United Karting was pretty fun, got back into KA, learned I have no stamina, and learned I can’t multitask very well.

Could’ve won in both but by the end I was just too tired and costing myself a lot of time, had a good run in the 206 pre final and KA final but I only have myself to blame.

Missed the start of 3 sessions cause I got lost with time and fixing stuff, huge huge huge thanks to @onionrevivalrebirth, @its.justin.j, and @degrangetravis for helping me and being the reason(s) I was able to keep running.

Also big thanks to @rkmii, @low_key_racing, @eking004, and @amy.bitz for the continuous support

Currently P4 in the 206 standings but we got a lot of races left and hopefully a new chassis coming in 🙏

Lot of fun with the team @unitedkarting ‘s double header.

Super strong Saturday, sweeping the day except for fastest lap in the final, which was taken by the one and only @max_schwa

Sunday was much more interesting. Started 1st after a really close qualifying, possibly setting the track record. If I had been even slightly slower, @himmo_45 would’ve had it and started on pole. The pre-final was just as intense, swapping the lead with @luke_fedowitz multiple times and barely hanging on for the win.

The final was absolutely ridiculous. It started rough before I even got on track after making a setup change in the wrong direction. Traded the lead even more times with Luke and @rkmii, and @wolfepackracing11 (Marcus) got involved fighting for the podium spots on his Senior debut after crushing it in Junior the day before.

Sat second with two to go, and slight contact with Luke out of bus stop (my fault) cost me time and forced me to go defensive against Miller. On the last corner of the last lap, he got a crazy run and sent an insane move up the inside to steal second.

Overall, Sodi finished 1-2-3-4 and 7th, with some of the best racing I’ve ever been part of at the front.

Congrats to @luke_fedowitz for the Sunday win and Saturday runner-up, @rkmii for the back-to-back heavy wins and second on Sunday, @wolfepackracing11 for a strong senior debut, and Max for a career-high qualifying run.

Thank you to @matthewfedowitz for the new tires and mechanical help, @its.justin.j, @dleech1259, @low_key_racing, @degrangetravis, and @rkmii for the additional support, and 991 Race Engines for the absolute monster I got to run this weekend.

Usually better late than never but not sure this time. As per usual it took me a while to learn the track, which I never really did anyway.

Starting qualifying perfectly by dipping my right rear in the grass and spinning myself, ended up poorly placing 34th of 40.

In the first heat my motor was very messed up putting me 2 seconds a lap slower than my already bad pace. Heat 2 was even worse as I got punted into a wall on the second lap.

The final went better, starting 32nd and slowly picking off spots, running through the pack with teammates @rkmii and @nagisayoshikawa98 after the red flag. After a long final I made up 15 spots ending in 17th.

What a weekend @cupkarts_east rounds 3 & 4.

Saturday started alright, qualifying and finishing P10 in Heat 1. At the start to Heat 2 I got launched dropping me to P17, managing to recover to P13 by the end. Made a bit more progress in the final, climbing up to P8, but then a penalty relegated me to P15.

Sunday wasn’t much better, starting P6 in the pre-final, but then got launched again and fell to the very back but recovered to P13. Started the final P10 and slowly worked my way up to P3, but then got spun on the last lap.

Tough weekend @cupkarts_east @unitedkarting. Nailed the setup early Friday, but started Saturday rough with engine issues landing me 9th in qualifying. I made some solid progress in the heats, but last lap contact in heat 2 dropped me from 4th to 7th. Fought my way forward again and was in the mix for 3rd, but a very poor decision from me took that away.

Sunday was a lot better, qualifying 3rd and leading most of the pre-final and final with the fastest lap. My GoPro mount broke with 4 to go, leading to a DQ, and more last lap contact led me to not take the checkered in a podium position.

Hard weekend, but overcame a lot and got more experience, onto the next.
