I spent so much time talking to people at our 4th Annual Gala that I barely took a single video.

And I wouldn't have it any other way.

What makes the Ryan Anthony Head Start Fund Gala special isn't just the turnout. It's the people who come together to support it. From our table sponsors and guests to the bartenders, vendors and everyone working behind the scenes, it's a room full of people who want to see the next generation succeed.

A special thank you to Steve Macchio of Clear Flow Technologies, who's been supporting us since day one. He couldn't make it this year because of work, but I didn't want his generosity to go unrecognized.

We're still getting the final attendance and fundraising numbers together, but I wanted to thank everyone while the night was still fresh.

I appreciate every one of you. by @ryananthonysheating

Showing up matters, and at our latest Ryan Anthony Head Start Fund meeting, we had the opportunity to recognize some of the young people who keep doing exactly that.

Students still in high school received $250 Brinkmann's Hardware Store gift cards. Our graduates received $500 gift cards along with drills, impact guns and drill bit sets to help them as they move forward in their careers.

We also heard from Peter Ferrandino of Noor Development Group, who shared his experience starting out as a teenager earning $2.85 an hour and eventually building a company employing more than 500 people.

His message was simple. Work hard, don't be afraid to take a different path, and make the effort to introduce yourself to people who can help you learn.

These monthly meetings aren't just about listening to speakers. They're about putting young people in a position to create opportunities for themselves.

One conversation could introduce you to a career you never even thought about.

Every month, the Ryan Anthony Head Start Fund brings local business owners, mentors and young people into the same room to talk about opportunities, different trades and what it actually takes to get started.

Our next meeting is Wednesday, November 18th at 7 PM at The Piermont in Babylon.

If you're in high school or trying to figure out your next move, come join us. Ask questions, introduce yourself and see who's in the room.

Last night’s Ryan Anthony Head Start Fund meeting was a special one.

We had a room full of young people and mentors, a great talk from Peter Ferrandino of Nord Development Group, and an opportunity to recognize some of the kids who have been showing up and putting in the work.

Several of our high school graduates received $500 gift cards to Brinkmann’s Hardware Store, along with drills, impact guns and drill bit sets. Students who are still in high school received $250 gift cards as recognition for their continued commitment to attending our meetings.

These kids are showing us that they’re serious about their futures, and we want to keep giving them reasons to stay on that path.

A big thank you to Peter, all of our volunteer mentors and everyone who helped make last night happen.

If you’ve never attended one of our meetings, come see what we’re doing.

This is something that comes so easy to a lot of people. This is also something that so many people struggle with on a daily basis. Life is not perfect. Things don’t always go your way. It’s how you navigate through the problems and find ways to overcome that make you who you are.
Don’t become the person that everyone talks about because they are so miserable all the time. Don’t become the person that when they call a place of business the entire staff cringes at the thought of having to speak to you. Treat everyone with respect! #respect #mindset

20+ years in business has taught me a lot. All the do’s and don’ts of running a company. This advice here is very important for all of you service based companies. I learned a hard lesson putting a lot of trust in people that turned out not having the company’s best interests at heart. I gave up a lot of control of the day to day to build my construction company up, so I’m not
saying it was a complete waste. Nothing is ever a waste, every experience is a lesson to learn good and bad. The extra time spent growing the construction company definitely helped overall but looking back I could have done it better. I want you guys to learn the mistakes I made before you make them yourselves.

We are going to begin making it
mandatory that our customers have surge protectors Installed on their heating systems. These new controls are so much more sensitive to failure compared to the old triple aquastats. Heating season is just about here guys. Make sure you are up to date with service. I just realized I forgot to write my name on service tag lol #hvac #hvactechnician #service #mindset #motivation taken in Ryan Anthony’s Heating Service, Inc. by @ryananthonysheating
