“Am I The Only One?” explores the complexities of care and compassion. With introspective lyrics, it delves into the challenge of uncovering hidden pain in someone you care about, knowing they are keeping something from you, and reflecting on the intricacies of understanding and supporting a loved one. Am I The Only One - Ryan Inglis Performed live at @cafebarmellowmunich I will be playing my next show at @substanz_club in Munich on Nov 29th TICKETS https://mmdb.musoc.de/event/?slug=showcase-session-substanz&occurrence_id=262 by @ryanaoinglis
Am I famous? No. Have I had any major commercial success? No. Does a large percentage of the population know who I am? Also no. Has music given me a life full of creativity, connection, experiences and people I probably never would have known otherwise? Yes. Do I regret the time I’ve spent doing something that makes me happy? No. Was it all worth it? Absolutely. Success can be much quieter than we’re sometimes led to believe. What does success look like to you when nobody else gets to define it? by @ryanaoinglis

I’m 45 today! It’s been another great year full of little achievements, working on projects and goals that keep me happy and fulfilled, spending time with the people I love and appreciate… and overall just feeling very lucky with the life I have. Big love to you all by @ryanaoinglis

Twenty years ago I hoped music might become my career. Today it’s not just how I make a living, it’s introduced me to lifelong friends, taken me to incredible places, and given me the chance to help other musicians build their own journeys too. I’m getting older, but I still wake up excited to make music. I still meet wonderful people. I still get invited to be part of some of life’s biggest moments. Looking back, I feel nothing but gratitude. by @ryanaoinglis

It’s now 12 years since this song, Hope, was created and released by a group of musicians around the Weston-super-Mare and Bristol area. Musicians who were always so generous with their time and experience, everyone involved was a constant source of support and encouragement Thank you to everyone who was part of this. “Hope is what keeps us strong when strength is gone. It’s a reason to carry on, And if you’re in the dark, then it won’t be long. This year it’s my gift, and I hope that you will pass it on.” by @ryanaoinglis
