SUMMER 2026

There’s always something around the corner…

This summer reminded me not to get too high with the highs or too low with the lows. Good bad or somewhere in between every season is passing and every season is being used.

My mom always said “this too shall pass” and I used to think that only applied to the hard times. Now I’m beginning to realize it applies to the moments you wish could last forever. The moments you overlook and the people you assume will always be there.

So be present. Be engaged. Enjoy the moment for what it is!

Cherish the people who love you for who you are. Check in on your people. Everybody is carrying something you may never see.

And above all trust in the Lord!

There was a plan for your life before you ever took your first breath. We were created by an eternal God for something greater than what this world can offer. We spend so much of our lives trying to satisfy an eternal desire with temporary things when the one who created that desire is the only one who can truly satisfy it.

The good seasons will fade.
The hard seasons will end.

The older I get, the more I realize that human development is what drew me to player development in the first place.

Basketball is simply the vehicle.

It gives us an opportunity to teach discipline, confidence, resilience, communication and character while helping young people become the men and women God created them to be.

That’s what makes these summers so special.

Blessed to be part of another summer with @thereal94feetofgame and @94ftapp Progressive Camp Series at @officialsportsacademy Grateful for the opportunity God has given me to serve, teach and help these athletes take the next step both on and off the court.
