Thursday, Guitar Center recognized Marina City as “Local Legends” and had us play a few acoustic versions of our songs. It was a special set for so many reasons but one that stuck out the most was how the audience was made up of our families, teachers, friends, old co workers, fans who’ve seen us nearly every show, fans who just started jamming us, and people who just walked in to hear a band they didn’t know. Having the ability to bring all of these special people in one room made this night something we won’t soon forget. Whether or not I would classify us as “Local Legends” we are being recognized as such due to you; the people who have supported us unconditionally all of these years while we tried new music, new haircuts, and changed lineups. This recognition surpasses the three of us and includes the former members of the band like Matt, Aaron, Brian, Ricky, Mooney, and Johnny. All of them are part of this. To have grown up in this local scene has been a privilege. We met each other here, we met our wives here, and we made families here. You all are true legends for making this scene welcoming and progressive. Thank you for letting us be part of it. ❤️❤️❤️

P.S you can hear Ryan’s daughter sing with us in the beginning of the video which only proves further how special this day was 🥹❤️
