One whole year of being your wife 🤍

365 days of choosing each other, growing together, laughing until our stomachs hurt and building a life that feels more beautiful than I ever imagined. Marriage isn’t perfect but loving you is one of the easiest and greatest decisions I have ever made.

September 23 will forever hold such a special place in my heart. Not only is it my daddy’s birthday, but now it is also the day I married the love of my life. I know he would be so proud of the life we are building together.

There was no shortage of opinions about our story,
and many voices spoke on something they never carried, prayed through, or lived.

But love doesn’t require consensus,
and obedience doesn’t need applause.

We stayed anchored in what God spoke, even when many voices tried to speak louder. The criticism was present but God was greater. And when something is built on Him, it doesn’t need to be defended.

This isn’t just a wedding photo.
It’s the fruit of choosing faith over fear, unity over noise,

POV: Your husband requests creamy peanut ramen for lunch 🍜🔥 🍜 Broth & Noodles
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tbsp chili crisp
4 garlic cloves, grated
2 inches fresh ginger, grated
6 spring onions (whites & greens separated)
2 tbsp miso paste
1 tbsp rice vinegar
3 tbsp peanut butter
3 tbsp runny tahini
400 ml coconut milk
750 ml chicken stock
2 tbsp soy sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
4 × 100 g ramen noodles
500g Chicken breast/steak of your choice

Garnish
Extra chili crisp
1 tbsp black sesame seeds
Fresh coriander leaves

🧑‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prep
Grate garlic and ginger. Slice spring onions, keeping whites and greens separate

2. Broth
Heat oil and chili crisp in a saute pan or pot. Add garlic, ginger and onion whites. Cook 3–4 min.
Stir in miso, peanut butter, tahini, and vinegar. Whisk in coconut milk, then chicken stock. Simmer gently 10 min. Add soy sauce, and adjust seasoning.

3. Noodles
In a separate pot, cook noodles separately. Drain and toss with a drizzle of sesame oil to prevent sticking.

Place the noodles in the center of the bowl in a little nest. Gently pour the broth around them so they stay visible. Add the chicken/ steak on top, then sprinkle over the sesame seeds, spring onions, chili oil, and coriander. Finish with a drizzle of sesame oil and a lime wedge on the side. Keep it clean and simple so everything looks fresh and inviting.
