As it starts to get hotter and hotter here in Charleston, my work typically slows down a bit. But I’m looking to change that this year by shooting a bunch of stuff for @withstills now that I have some time.Really looking to shoot a wide variety of stuff, as well as what might be included in this set.Think fitness related things, summer adventures/summer moments, sports of some kind, lifestyle, technology, dinner parties, 2 or more people doing stuff together (classes, running, hanging out, picnic etc), just honest and real moments of people doing all sorts of things. A couple of sculptural bar arrangements I made for Hannah & Will’s wedding at @thedewberrycharleston I loved making these, I remember making these early in the morning before anyone came into the studio, and before we packed up the van to head to setup. I had my headphones on and just used all the best focal punchy flowers we had for the wedding to create these two fun pieces. The peonies in these were so stunning to see in person, especially the red charms. Also loved the added Gloriosa Lillies for height and airiness. Sometimes we make things so fast during production days, I just love getting up super early in the stillness of the studio to take my time on a few arrangements to get my creativity flowing.Hannah & Will’s palette was so fun, I loved being able to play with bright summer colors. Working with Alyson at @elisavetevents was a dream to bring this to life together. My antique Japanese metal ikebana vases from @supersaturdaystore were perfect for these arrangements. I always love designing in them, they create a perfect little lifted platform to display flowers. What an amazing evening spent along the marsh at one of the most beautiful houses I’ve ever seen. Thank you to @marsh_project for having me out to document this fundraiser, and for all the amazing work you do here in Charleston protecting our precious ecosystems. So thankful for the work and education you do! 🫶Also very cool to see chef @juancassalett cook over a live fire! Had some absolutely unreal bites this night. by @ryanbelk
