POSTS STORIES REELS

What a whirlwind of emotions the past couple months have been.

I’ve been waiting quite some time to post about this but I was recently published as part of Southwest Art Magazine’s 21 Under 31 featuring 21 artists under the age of 31 that are developing their styles, putting themselves out there, and doing the damn thing!

I’m incredibly grateful to be included in this year’s issue and it just again proves to myself to keep pushing forward and doing what I love to do. This is just one more nod to myself to keep pursuing a passion that ultimately makes me who I am today.

In other news, my grandfather was laid to rest today. And while I’ve cried and cried again, I’m happy knowing that he’s at ease. He was a large part of my childhood and I deeply cherish the memories we were able to share.

I’m sharing this today because I think it’s exactly what he would’ve wanted. He would’ve wanted me to celebrate my wins, who I’ve become, and the path that lies before me. All while taking the time to stop, reflect, and remember him and the impact he’s had on my life.

To JR: I love you Grandpa. Thank you for cherishing me as a child and for bringing me so much joy throughout the time we were able to share together.

Cheers to those who love and nourish us as we grow, who help make us into the person we are today, and for our own personal achievements throughout our lifetime.

‘Till we meet again🌿

Admittedly not my best tape pull…

But there’s something about seeing those crispy white edges when the tape comes off!

High Summer
24 × 20 oil on canvas

Inspired by long summer afternoons in the Colorado high country—bright water, sailboats on the lake, and fleeting mountain light.

Now it’s off to be framed before heading to Arts Alive Gallery.

It’s been a minute!

At the end of May, I made my first trip back home to North Carolina since moving away six years ago. And let me tell you—a Cajun chicken filet biscuit has never slapped so hard. Almost as hard as the humidity did.

Jokes aside, it was incredibly rejuvenating to spend time with people we haven’t seen in years. It was a whirlwind of a trip and absolutely exhausting, but I wouldn’t have had it any other way.

As for the art… I have some very exciting news that I’ll be able to share soon. 👀 Until then, I’m almost finished with a larger piece that I’m pretty proud of. Getting back into the groove after time away can be a bit of a challenge, but we’re getting there.

More soon!

Cheers, y’all!🤠

🔥New prints up at Eclectic Bar and Grill in Silverthorne!🔥

Came in with 3… left with 2 on the wall because one sold before it even went up. Guess we’ll call that a strong start!

Keep an eye out for some originals coming to Eclectic soon! 🤠
