2 years ago, @mikefontaine_ took a chance on me. He brought me into his world and asked me to work with him. Little did I know that this would become the biggest movies in the world @sinnersmovie — and one of the hardest few months of my life. So challenging, that I called my brother @ryancarl to come and keep me afloat.

The next 4 months would prove to be the most intense of our lives. Flying close to the sun, but proving to ourselves that if you lead with honesty and determination, you can get anything done.

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to celebrate this life changing experience at the Oscars, with two of my best friends. A moment I will never forget.

Thank you to everyone who supported us through these challenging times, and for believing in us when we sometimes didn’t believe in ourselves.

Huge shoutout to Rochee for the release of his new EP, “Prime Meridian”! Loved getting to write a small part on “Evolve”. What started as a seed of a musical idea with @eddietylerslife evolved first with the spontaneous lyrics that poured out of @r.rochee and evolved again with @lberrier’s masterful production. Cheers to the creative process! 🥂 by @ryancarl

On a once-in-a-lifetime project that I simply couldn’t be more excited about. Love this team and so excited for what’s ahead in the next 5 months of filming. Working on a doc I truly, truly believe in with my whole heart. Catch me on my DIT slash BTS photo slash BTS video grind in this next season. 💻🎥📷 @untold_la taken in Los Angeles, California by @ryancarl

“Because hope is the bird that sings even when she can’t see the dawn.”
- NIGHTBIRDE

We felt you all would like to see some of the memories that sat in Jane’s phone. So we layered that with one of her songs, “Fly”, and teamed up with a long time friend of Jane’s , @ryancarl , to weave together these moments for an official “Fly” music video.

The full video is now live on the NIGHTBIRDE YouTube. And we will leave you all with Jane’s words we started with:
“Because hope is the bird that sings even when she can’t see the dawn.”
