That’s how long it’s been since our first date, where I was blown away by how direct and how kind and how beautiful and how smart and how funny you were. And I just felt so lucky and so astonished that someone as cool as you would want to hang out with me. I am still constantly delighted and surprised by you. And I still cannot get over how lucky I am just to know you. Happy anniversary to my hilarious, silly, serious, divine, and brilliant future wife.

Here’s a bunch of photos that I hope capture a smidgen of the joy you bring into the world and the delight that you are. taken in Somerville, Massachusetts by @ryanchowe

Hey! My (future) wife and I opened a comedy club. We’re very proud of it. I want to acknowledge: it wouldn’t exist without her. She is the person who sat me down a year and a half ago and reminded me that we were a community, and could build a club. She is the person who saw things I could never see. She’s the reason I went on the walk that lead me to the real estate office where a realtor found us our venue. And she’s the person who encouraged me to walk in and be honest and genuine with that realtor. She is such a good person. The club is phenomenal, and it feels like home because Isabel decorated it. I love Isabel. She helped open a comedy club while finishing her last year of grad school and planning a wedding (of which I am helping with, but her work is incredible).

We’re building a community: and we’re so grateful to everyone that’s a part of it. Thank you for believing in us and our silly little comedy club. Also, thank you to our friends, and family, and everyone who has ever believed in us even the tiniest bit. taken in Somerville, Massachusetts by @ryanchowe

POV you come to breakfast with us, but we’re cuddling a weird amount and there’s also… a camera person there? So glad you could make it 🥰

Duck Duck Goofs: Now a Family Business!

On Saturday, Ryan (our founder) proposed to his girlfriend, Isabel (who is also our education coordinator) at the end of the 8pm show.

We’re only a month and a half away from opening our brick and mortar comedy club in Somerville! Thank you to the community that has not only watched us grow, but has grown with us.
