I’m not good at chess, I play every game without a plan or strategy in hopes something weird happens.

“Riding Bike” 13” x 15” in. intaglio etching on Hahnemuhle copperplate paper , editions available on shop or DM

If everyone is sweating is anyone really drenched ? Why do you look at me so weird for walking in this store drenched devoured by sweat? Yeah the AC is sending me into shock , that’s MY problem okay? Just let me buy some water for like too much money so I can gulp it down and sweat it out when I hop back on my bike; the pedal master 5000 with 600 gears so cross the country with. But I just go back and forth down the same roads, they’re flat but you gotta watch for hazards like dead birds and oil spills. Pedal pedal pedal pedaling away. Pedaling to your doorstep to throw an egg at it.

Omnomnomnomnom mmmmmm there’s a big shoe where by brain should be but it tastes good like leather and that reminds me of how I could skin an animal and maybe turn it into something that ends up killing me as it’s stomped into my face on the curb. Lots of thoughts pour out my head like blood, I’m seeing stars of photons dancing in my vision as a vignette of black swallows my perception and I’m blinded by the pain.

“Pitch-Swords” 6” x 13” intaglio etching on Hahnemuhle copperplate paper. Editions available.
-
Ow ow ow poking on me stop poking me owwww yeowch please please please I can’t take this anymore stop poking me every time I move everytime I speak there’s your pitch sword lodged deep in my being, I can’t move I’m just stuck being stabbed and sliced and poked all day all night. The thoughts keep pushing all these pitch swords deeper into me, and to pull them out would drain all the blood from my vessel, so just stay in there lodged in me deep, paralyzing me with the pain of your words and thoughts. I’m frozen here forever and skewered like the seasoned piece of meat you always knew I was.

An extension of thoughts about digital hyper-realities, the occult, and how light from a screen gets decoded in the mind. How it activates imagination and carries consciousness away from its material conditions. The screen was built by the eye for the eye, and has since its origin, dominated the optical and mind’s eye.
