Yes, I’m the guy that still posts photos on my blog (about once per year 😂 still counts.) As much as everyone is glued to these tiny screens, seeing photos big is still the way to go (next best thing to seeing them printed.) This is a couple little handfuls of some of my favorite photos of 2024. There’s about 200 more photos currently waiting for you to check out through the link in my bio.
I’m incredibly thankful to all the people who invited me to document these parts of their family histories, and to the other hardworking “vendors” (although that term doesn’t come close to doing justice) whose talents made each day happen. Eighteen years of doing this and counting, and I’m still having a blast and feeling excited for what’s to come.

A & I started their wedding day cycling and running to an island beach, where they plunged into the Salish Sea alongside friends and family. It was a beautiful way to personalize the traditional mikvah ritual. The mist and cold water led to a gloriously sunny day, copious laughter and a raging dance party. One for the books, and I’m grateful I was invited to document it all. It’s impossible for me to narrow down a day like this, so let’s consider this a part one.

Feeling like I need another ferry session here soon. It’s been too long. Also, bonus dog and oyster picture in the stories, for extra PNW cred.

A moment of appreciation for this breathtaking cake and romantic modern wedding — blush pinks, soft blues, and touches of purple layered with timeless European elegance.

Following your heart when you’re making photos, will rarely lead you astray. I’m here for the photos that make you, and make me, deeply feel something, each time you look at it.

Just up here wishing there was snow like this on the ground to go photograph people in. If anyone sees winter, can they send it up to the PNW? Thx.
