My grandpa Peep was so much more than my grandfather. He was like a second dad to me, a mentor, a teacher, and one of the greatest influences in my life.

From the time I was little, he taught me what hard work really meant. I still remember him dropping me off at pre school on his way to his office and spending countless weekends doing yard work at his house. Even at that young age, I was learning from him, whether I realized it or not.

He introduced me to so many things that became a part of who I am: golf, boating, fishing, cars, cooking, investing, business, and countless conversations about news, life, and everything in between.

He was always a mentor and an inspiration, encouraging me to dream big, work hard, and become the best version of myself. And no matter what, he was always there for me. He would constantly remind me that if I ever needed a hand, all I had to do was give him a call.

His work ethic, wisdom, generosity, and guidance helped shape the person I am today. So much of what I know, what I enjoy, and who I have become came from the time I spent with him.

I’m incredibly grateful for every lesson, every conversation, every laugh, and every memory. Those are things I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I love you, Peep. I’ll miss you more than words can say. I hope I can make you proud and carry everything you taught me forward for the rest of my life. ❤️ taken in Bradenton, Florida by @ryanhintze
