One of the coziest pizza spots in the Berkshires! 🍕🍷

Tucked inside a historic farmhouse in Egremont, Massachusetts, Hilltown (formerly Hilltown Hot Pies) is serving up some seriously good wood-fired sourdough pizza, and it's absolutely worth adding to your Berkshires restaurant list!

What started as a local pizza pop-up has turned into a charming countryside restaurant focused on naturally fermented dough, locally sourced ingredients, and a menu that changes with the seasons.

Here's what we ordered:

Mozzarella Fritta - homemade mozzarella sticks served with marinara and herby ranch.
Seasonal Tomato Salad - fresh tomatoes with whipped feta.
Margherita Pizza - plum tomato sauce, house-stretched mozzarella, and fresh basil.
Sweet & Spicy Pizza - mozzarella, red onion, soppressata, and local hot honey.
Rosh Hashanah-Inspired Pizza - a seasonal special featuring apples and honey!

Between the cozy farmhouse atmosphere, great wine, and incredible pizza, this is the kind of place that makes a dinner out feel like a little getaway.

If you're planning a Berkshires weekend getaway, exploring Great Barrington, or looking for unique restaurants in Western Massachusetts, make sure Hilltown is on your radar!

A new farm-to-table restaurant in the Hudson Valley that deserves a spot on your list!

We recently visited The Tavern at Liberty Farms in Ghent, New York, and this cozy little restaurant is bringing something special to the Hudson Valley dining scene.

What makes this place unique? The restaurant is connected to its very own working farm, making it about as farm-to-table as you can get! The menu is small, seasonal, and thoughtfully curated around fresh ingredients and locally raised meats.

Here's what we ordered:

🥬 Veggie Fritto Misto - zucchini, mushrooms, shishito peppers, and cauliflower served with dill ranch.

🍗 Duck Leg Confit - mashed potatoes, maple bacon Brussels sprouts, and fresh greens.

🍽️ Barbecue Half Chicken - served with farro risotto, dried fruit, herbs, and rosemary carrots.

🍎 Apple Biscuit Dessert - the perfect sweet ending to our dinner!

Everything was delicious, and the atmosphere is exactly what you'd want from a cozy countryside tavern: warm, intimate, and full of charm.

If you're looking for new restaurants in the Hudson Valley, farm-to-table dining near Hudson, NY, or a cozy dinner spot in Columbia County, The Tavern at Liberty Farms is worth checking out! @thetavernatlibertyfarms

Taking full advantage of these last few weeks of fall weather. by @ryanjnz

Old Navy's new arrivals are SO good right now, and the sale makes them even better.

They're currently running 50% off everything plus an extra 10% so I rounded up 30 of my favorite men's fall finds.
Think cozy sweaters, textured jackets, corduroy, flannels, and some really good everyday basics.

1,500+ glowing jack-o’-lanterns, a smoking pumpkin volcano and a fog-filled forest 🎃 This is the Incredible Naumkeag Pumpkin Show in Stockbridge, MA, and it’s one of the best Halloween events in New England.

The gardens at Naumkeag are a historic Gilded Age estate in the Berkshires. Every fall they turn into a walk-through display of carved pumpkins, glowing mushrooms, castles and light installations. Many of the pumpkins are grown right on site.

What to know before you go:
- Book timed tickets online ahead of time. They don’t sell tickets at the door.
- Evening visits use a shuttle (5–8 PM). The last shuttle back leaves at 9 PM.
- Thursday, Oct 22 is the last discounted Value Night of the season.
- Wear real shoes. The gardens are terraced, with lots of steps and hills.
- Kids 2 and under are free.
- Want it less crowded? There are daytime and early-evening (4–5 PM) time slots too.

If you’re putting together a fall weekend in the Berkshires and want help with where to stay and what to book, the link is in my bio.

Save this for next October 🧡

Just a couple gals and all the pumpkins 🎃

Spent the night at The Incredible Naumkeag Pumpkin Show in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, and this is such a fun way to spend a fall evening in the Berkshires!

Every October, the historic Naumkeag estate transforms its gardens and grounds into a Halloween wonderland filled with hundreds of glowing jack-o'-lanterns, creative pumpkin displays, colorful lights, and spooky little surprises along the way.

You follow an illuminated walking trail through the property, with everything from whimsical pumpkin carvings to fog-filled scenes and larger-than-life Halloween displays. It's festive, a little spooky, and honestly just a really fun experience whether you're visiting with friends, on a date night, or bringing the family.
