I wanted to add something sentimental to our BIG sandwich menu, and when Ryan and I started talking about doing a BIG Italian, my mind immediately went to my dad.

If you know him, you know he’s the definition of a “good Italian man”. He made sure our family grew up knowing what real Italian food tasted like. I spent my childhood at the deli counter picking up wedges of ricotta for my mom, eating paper-thin prosciutto and basement-cured salami, and making spiedini and ravioli on Sundays. Those flavors are home to me.

Since moving to New York, I’ve been chasing those flavors. Ryan and I drove all over Utica and Syracuse looking for the perfect prosciutto for this sandwich, and somehow we found it in the most unexpected place—a tiny hole-in-the-wall Polish market. 😂

Meet the Johnny B: layers of salami, capicola, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, basil, and thinly sliced onion, finished with your choice of sub sauce or olive tapenade with a pinch of @mamalilspeppers . It’s all piled onto @hentonhillfarm focaccia 🔥

OUR BIG SANDWICH POPUP IS SATURDAY 5pm at @lowerlakebeer and we’d like you to meet one of our masterpieces! Introducing our Kings Falafel this bad boy is FILLED with incredible flavors - Toum, tons of veg, Pickled Turnip, crispy falafel, a TON of lemon and a yogurt parsley drizzle. We recommend you add a dash of @eatmastodon hot sauce 🔥 this sandwich can easily be made vegan!

SATURDAY IS BIG SANDWICH NIGHT!
We are doing a pop up collab! THIS Saturday in Hamilton at Lower Lake Brewery (14 Utica st.) 5pm - close.

The Sherburne Inn, and friend of the inn Chef Ryan Lee, will be showcasing 5 Specialty sandwiches. Our TWO best sellers will be added to our new menu coming out JULY 28th! We will also be rolling out our never-before-seen (until now) Molasses Slab Ice Cream Sandwich in collaboration with Gilligan’s Restaurant 😍🤤 this ice cream sandwich will also be joining our menu all summer July 28th.
