Austin is alive and well within the walls of Alley Bar at Brushy Street Commons. Nestled in the beating heart of downtown, our 36-person capacity, music-forward dive bar is hosting two of the Violet Crown’s favorite sons. This July 19th, in the year of our lord 2026, Angel White and Ryan King will swap laughs, share stories, and play songs you’ve only heard, till now, on the radio or sweating in a sold-out Stubb’s show. Due to unprecedented demand, a matinee performance has been added. Tickets for both the 5pm and 7pm shows are on sale now, link in the @brushystreet bio. Secure yours for this once in a lifetime opportunity. We’d hate to not see you there.

I’m thrilled to announce that next week I’ll be moving to @paseoatx as part of their Artist-In-Residence Program! Being a part of this program alongside the variously talented artists is going to be an immensely inspiring experience, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to focus on my creative pursuits and collaborate with such amazing artists and team.

Music has always been my foundation for community and bringing people together, and my band @nightcapatx and I have been fortunate enough to continue to do that through releasing our second record, and playing some of our largest shows to date around the country. The ability to balance being on the road and writing new music at such a pivotal time through this program is something I’m immensely grateful for.

When I’m not on the road with my band, having a space to create freely and produce music is so important. I’m excited to continue composing original score for films, produce and write music for my band and collaborate with other artists, and connect and create engaging events with the community being built with @visitrainey and @_inresidence_ ❤️‍🔥

I’m truly excited to be reminded in new ways the beauty of people coming together to create something great.
