Finished my first official “work week” in the Big Blue 💙 I finally have the ability to form (somewhat) adequate words of appreciation.

My first email address I created in elementary school was seaturtleryan@gmail.com (it’s not active anymore don’t send anything). My big fourth grade science project was on turtles. I had a pet turtle named Squirt as a child, and my dad had the cast of Finding Nemo in a salt water aquarium in the living room growing up (justice for Bubbles).

The story of Finding Nemo clearly meant a lot to me as a kid. Being able to love on my childhood self in this way means a lot to me as an adult. It is an honor to have a full time job in which I get share in telling this story about love, growth, trust, community, loss, overcoming, family, and chosen family. Beyond all of that, it is a true joy to be a part of on and off stage. Literally pinch me.

I am in awe of the circle of people I have around me, supporting me, and helping me become a better person every single day. I do not know what I did to deserve such a dream come true. I will never take this life for granted.

🌙 DreamWorks Imagination Celebration ✨

Over the last few years, I have discovered that my favorite art to be a part of is art that is created for children and families. It is an absolute dream come true to be a small part of a show that brings families together so effectively. It is not lost on me how incredibly lucky I am.

I am immensely thankful for my fellow cast members, show direction, trainers, captains, and my irreplaceable support system. I am genuinely exhausted by the amount of happy tears that I’ve shed (literally have tears streaming down my face for no reason right now lol).

✨”Tweren’t nothin ma’am, that’s what us legends do”✨

“Legendary” is probably a good way to put it.

I’ve dreamt of this show for years, and feel overcome with gratitude that the process was even greater than what I had previously dreamed of. I have never felt so supported, cared for, and cherished (by not only a leadership team but by every cast member that was a part of this process). Lizzy, Natalie, and Juan are simply unmatched. Tae- you are next level. Learning a role alongside you was incredibly healing, while also the perfect type of challenging. Thank you for exemplifying brotherhood.

There have been many times in life that I’ve had to stop and really think about the reasons I have to be grateful. June 2026 was not one of those times. It was as if every day, every rehearsal, was competing with the rest for the title of Best Day Ever™️.

“We cried today”. We sure did. If we circle up one more time I’m literally going to be dehydrated. Thank you for making this Pride month one that was filled with tears of joy.

a very belated birthday post because the digitals are here 🤩

This year felt special for a multitude of reasons. It was the first birthday in many years that I was home and able to celebrate with (most of) my community. However, for some strange reason, the Universe decided “being home for my birthday” wasn’t where the blessings would stop.

I was lucky enough to start my 27th birthday with training for a dream job 💜
and I got to end the day celebrating with so many people that make Orlando feel like home (for a kid who has spent his life moving from state to state, a city feeling like home means more than words) 💞

So many people are not pictured that have been so pivotal in fostering the recent joy that I’ve felt. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to EVERYONE that has contributed to making this life of mine something Baby Ryan™️ could only dream of. The more time I spend around my people, the more I begin to think that I might truly be the luckiest boy in the world.

Okay I’m crying (shocker). I love y’all, thank you 🫶🏻
