Made it to Silverton once again during the Iron Horse Bicycle Classic. That makes 4 times for me + 2 mountain bike race appearances over the years. Love the feeling of descending Molas after traveling through the rugged terrain. Constantly inspired by those at the front of the race as well as the very back of the Citizen's Tour. Yay bikes and yay Durango! by @ryanmtb

I finally made it over to ride the Rico side of the mountains. A challenging climb up Scotch Creek road gave way to sweeping views on the Colorado trail capped off by a plunge town Salt Creek trail. Excellent loop. by @ryanmtb

Youngs Canyon is a lesser-traveled trail on the north edge of Lemon Reservoir. It’s about 5k to the top of Missionary Ridge, but don’t be fooled. This rugged trail climbs about 2000 feet in that distance. by @ryanmtb

Continuing on my local exploring tour was riding the Blackhawk Colorado Trail loop. It’s a grind of a ride (24 miles and almost 5,000 feet of climbing) but the reward is a spectacular stretch on the Colorado Trail. Questioned my sanity at times but the descent off of Blackhawk was 10/10 worth it. by @ryanmtb

Life has served up some free time lately which is kind of strange, but I’m trying to enjoy it by exploring some places around Durango that I haven’t yet. Saturday was an 8 mile round trip hike on Shearer Creek trail. by @ryanmtb

The first 20 miles or so of the Arkansas Graveler featured sharp climbs and descents, chunky rocks, and the occasional mud puddle. I loved it! One of my favorite sections of the course. by @ryanmtb
