The #wildwest was paved on the backs of #wildhorses by #risktakers riding #mustangs with big risks, and big rewards. I shot this in the #southwest behind a maximum security prison, the #juxtaposition of the free & captive parallels the dilemma of the battle of the our minds and our behaviors, arr we wild but how much is too much? This was magic on a magical day with a herd of #wildmustang. It was full of energy. Some #photoshoots have energy that evolves and transcends the expectations, offering #divinelight. (Which also has to do with planning, and #locationscouting) #southwestphotographer #horsephotographer #creativedirector #cinematographer #californiaphotographer #wildwestphotography #letshoot #bringthelight #sonya7iv #artphotographer @ryanmelinecreative taken in Southwest USA by @ryanosauruses

#Horses have my heart. The bond between horse and human is long established, keep the line of respect broad, they are powerful & kind, playful and haunting, but keep your heart forward and with a gentle approach. And you will have a #bestfriend forever. I’ve been fortunate to spend a lot of time over the years with these beasts, from playing Division 1 #Polo for Westmont College in Santa Barbara, to endless trail rides #ClintEastwood style, to mucking out there dirty stalls while they watch or nibble on your shirt. They are like big dogs / or big cats, unaware of their size. These guys wandered up to me from a paddock in Montana this summer to say hello. Give them time and space and they’ll make your heart grow. taken in Bozeman, Montana by @ryanosauruses

As a creator of art, #directorofphotography ,#cinematographer , & #creativedirector, I am always looking for the location of the next scene. where the story will unfold & how to capture that moment. What’s your story? What is the art that lives inside you. Your beauty? Santa Fe, New Mexico is dear to me, my favorite place to shoot productions in the US! I had the gift to work with my sister @nicolemeline to make some memories and beautiful media for many years, it is dear to my heart. If you want a photo shoot still or create a mini production there I’m your director of photography! I can provide locations and ideas for your production shoot. As I live in California I’m always looking for locations here similar to shoot , but nothing compares to the desert of New Mexico. #creativedirector #southerncaliforniaphotographer #directorofphotography #cinematographer #sonya7iv by @ryanosauruses
