Built myself a nice little life here in Virginia Beach.
Reckon I’ll head elsewhere before I get too comfy.

I’ve loved (almost) everything about this city, and the beautiful people I have met here along this stop on my journey. Know that I will always be grateful to the 757 for showing me love in the darkest of times. I love you all dearly from the bottom of my heart. I’ll be back around often.

I owe my biggest gratitude to my sister, Lauren, and her family. Thank you for believing in me.

Woah.

Five years and three months.

After this month, Back Bay Brewing will no longer be my second home. For those who have been with me along this journey, I have written a little something for you below. To all others, thank you will never suffice how grateful I am.

Back Bay Family and Friends,

This place, you people, and the artistry behind craft brewing have become an integral part of my life, shaping it in ways I could never have imagined. And what a journey it continues to be. I left everything to start over here in Virginia Beach, and what a rewarding risk it has manifested itself into.

Each day, I have had the privilege of working alongside not just colleagues, but friends and mentors. Your camaraderie, support, and shared passion for the craft have been my driving force, my inspiration, and my anchor.

Leaving Back Bay is bittersweet. It’s not just a workplace; it’s been my second home that is filled with laughter, shared dreams, and countless unforgettable memories. There are few things I love more on this planet.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to each one of you— from the owners and fellow staff members to the friendly faces in the taproom. You have been more than colleagues; you’ve been my rock. Thank you for the endless encouragement, the late-night companionship, and the unwavering support during both the triumphs and the challenges.

Wishing you all continued success, endless creativity, and the joy that comes from cultivating your passions. Thank you for being a part of my journey and for making these past five years at Back Bay Brewing truly an eternal memory.
