From being stupidly obsessed with you when I was 13, to now being 18 writing about how you’re gone, is something I never thought I’d have to do. It’s hard to understand how we’re supposed to keep going without you. I hope your family knows how much of a light you were to everyone who knew you. You have so many people who deeply care about you and are mourning this. I’m so lucky to be one of those missing you. To know you and spend time with you, although cut short, was a blessing. I will tell my kids about our memories and the impact you had on everyone. I will miss having your hand in mine. Our little talks. The friendships you gave me with your best friends. And you making us all laugh. Your light shined so bright on our town. I don’t know how I will go back home knowing you won’t be 10 minutes away.

Life is so short. We truly don’t know what day is our last. Give your life to Christ today. He is my only hope during this. Prayers to the Mcdowell family & friends.

Sept. 🙃🧚‍♂️🧚‍♂️🧚‍♂️🎠🎠🍬🍬🍬

I’ve prayed more this month than I have my entire life. For families, friend groups, communities, certain people, and myself. I wish the circumstances weren’t what they are to cause this. With plans failing, hearing awful news, time & time again. This has been the hardest month of my entire life. But I’m so glad to be a daughter of Christ. My hope for my life is only in Jesus. I’ve never been so hopeless & confused. All I can do put my trust in Him, who is constant. I don’t understand why things happened the way they did, but I have peace knowing that my Father does. I can put my trust in the One who accords everything for my good & His glory. He has told me that this month has been hard, but it’s for a purpose that He will later reveal to me. For now, I simply am clay in the hands of the potter, trusting Him to mold me through this season.

I was flipping thru my Church notes & I’ve read what I’ve wrote on sermons abt facing hard times & trusting in God. These were easy for me to grasp when I had such good things going on in life. Now I read them and it just feels so hard to believe. But I know Gods word is true, even when I don’t understand it. So I choose to remain Faithful in Him. by @ryanrookk
