Banner Church is turning TWO🎉

Two years of God’s faithfulness. Two years of changed lives. Two years of seeing Jesus move in our city. Two years of miracles we could’ve never made happen on our own. And now we’re crossing over into that miracle, to step into our future together as a church.

Get in the room for Anniversary Sunday at Banner because we’re making a BIG announcement, celebrating everything God has done, and looking ahead to where we’re going and what we believe God is going to do.

Worship, baptisms, kids party, food and drinks, and an exclusive merch drop (hint: it’s a collab ❤️‍🔥) it’s a weekend you don’t want to miss!

Banner Church is building a new home for the people of Seattle.

We’re not just building a building. We’re making space to reach our friends, family, coworkers, roommates, the next generation, and an entire city with the love, power, and healing of Jesus.

This Monday has me reflecting on the hundreds of servant leaders who make @bannerseattle a home for our city. I once heard someone say that successful leaders don’t look at the mirror to themselves in appreciation, they look out the window to the people in gratitude. I just remember at one point making a commitment to spend the rest of my life believing in, developing, and releasing others into their God given passion, calling and purpose more than anything.. my prayer has always been that we want to be more known for the people we raised and the gifts we called out than the platforms we built.

Truly grateful for this season of life with the best people, the best mission, in the best city on earth. We’re really living in a miracle. by @ryantaekim

Yesterday at @bannerseattle we commissioned over 70 group leaders to shepherd, equip, and care for the people of our congregation as we kicked off the fall season of Houses, Essentials, and Clubs. Leaders from all different generations and backgrounds saying yes to what I believe is most precious to Jesus— people.

From the sanctuary to the streets, from living rooms to coffee shops, from parks and playgrounds to courts and fields, we’re gathering in community all across our city. Because being the church means that Jesus isn’t just with us on Sunday mornings. He lives in us, goes with us, and meets with us, everywhere we go. by @ryantaekim
