Alek Wek for @voguemagazine January 2000. Photographed by @stevenkleinstudio, firstly in a Gianfranco Ferre sleeveless dress draped on top of a Donna Karen crinoline underskirt. And THIS is why today’s modern day policy of head-to-toe designer styling has kind of dulled some of that magic unfortunately! But in the second look @msalekwek wears a @husseinchalayanofficial Fall 2000 red technical gown, which was originally worn by @erinoconnor on the runway in black. And in the last shot Alek wore a @prada Fall 2000 A-line wool coat, worn by @angelalindvall on the runway. It’s so funny seeing the RRP prices for the garments that the magazines listed back then. However, the styling was done by one of the best, Camilla Nickerson. And Merci beaucoup to dear @lafeuille98 by @ryantowear
