Over time, a wife will tend to reflect the way she’s been loved.

Often a husband will complain about his withering wife without taking responsibility for how he may have contributed to her state through neglect, passivity, harshness, or a lack of provision.

But when a wife is well loved, she tends to flourish and grow more beautiful - which blesses everyone around her.

A husband can’t make his wife flourish, but he can create conditions that are conducive to flourishing. A husband isn’t guilty for his wife’s sins, but he’s always responsible for her wellbeing as the leader.

Husbands, if you don’t like your wife, instead of pointing the finger at how she’s failing you, look in the mirror and reflect on how you may have failed her first.

You can’t have authority as the leader of your wife without taking responsibility for the condition of your wife.

A man can lead his family in multiple ways: prayer, repentance, and also in WORSHIP. 🙌🏽

Leadership looks like active participation, not passive observation. Leadership is not passive.

Worship is one way in which we wage spiritual warfare, so a man should lead his family in that fight! Sing, raise your hands, clap, and shout for joy to the Lord!

When you vote, you’re picking the best AVAILABLE path forward for your community. No candidate will be perfect or live up to the standard of Jesus.

“Neither option is perfect so I refuse to participate” is not an option for a faithful Christian.

Judah showed up outnumbered, and the first thing they did was worship.

“At the very moment they began to sing and give praise, the Lord caused the armies of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir to start fighting among themselves.” - 2 Chronicles 20:22

The singers didn’t win that battle. The power was never in the music, the chords, or how good the band sounded. It was the Lord’s, and it still is.

Think about what Jesus actually did for you. He died for you. He saved you from eternal separation from God. A polite golf clap doesn’t match that.

Psalm 147:1 says it is good to sing praises to God, it is pleasant, and a song of praise is fitting. Celebratory worship isn’t extra. It’s the only response that actually fits what He’s done.

It was a fun filled day! Lyla got to meet her new puppy, Lucy, for the very first time. 🥰 It was love at first sight! Then we got to take her to her first @azcardinals game! She was blown away by the overwhelming magnitude of the stadium! We missed our church family today, but made some special Visconti family memories. There’s been a calculated push to keep Christians “out of politics.” Nobody wants that more than Satan and those who share his evil agenda.

It would benefit churches to be regularly reminded of how these biblical truths apply to our modern civic duty. 1st century Christians didn’t have the opportunity to elect godly leaders, but if they had, they surely would have tried. Millions have fought, and many have died, to give us that opportunity today.

Pastors can emphasize our responsibility to vote without pushing partisanship or promoting individual candidates. Just getting Christians to “vote the Bible” will move the needle in fantastic ways.

Blessing FOLLOWS obedience. So many Christians miss out on special blessings because they refuse to obey God’s specific commands.
