Nothing prepares you for getting diagnosed with cancer at 25. It’s hard. It’s so so so hard. However I am so incredibly grateful for the amount of support and love I have received these last 6 months. I’ve spent hours upon hours waiting and praying for this day and I’m happy to say it feels just as amazing as I hoped. I can’t wait to see what post cancer life has in store 💜

As we head into our second week of Newsies, I’ve been taking a moment to reflect.

This time last year, I had just moved back to the city less than a week after finishing treatment. I told my agent I was ready to start auditioning again, and a few days later I received this self tape request. I’ve loved this song for years and it always reminds me of the lessons cancer has taught me.

Even on the hard days I remind myself how blessed I am to be exhausted and challenged. I wake up grateful for my health, my community, and the opportunity to continue pursuing the work I love.

Never take your health for granted. There’s someone out there wishing they had it💜
