Without further ado, I present the third installment of my saved by bass mix series - this time an
adaptation from my set I performed at AV Club - Road To Fire Lights. Like the dummy I am, I
botched the recording, so I snapped my fingers and put this studio mix together.

Explore this evocative, heartfelt journey as I share some of my favorite autonomic dnb tunes from the past 15
years, old and new alike. I've long been a fan of this music and this past event was the impetus for
me to put together a set with some tracks I've been holding onto for far too long. I hope you find as
much enjoyment as I did in the intricate soundscapes these tracks employ. Please let me know what
you think, and as always, much love - RyeBred

Tomorrow is the day! I've been working around the clock since I was invited to play AV club and I am proud to share that I have something really creative lined up. I've long been a fan of the niche drum and bass subgenre known as "autonomic" dnb. This particular style came to popularity sometime around 2010 and was popularized by pioneers dBridge and Instra:mental. The style went on to influence mainstays such as Alix Perez and Fracture and is still being made to this day on labels like Exit Records.

I really like the minimal aspect of this music and how it gives space for soulful expressionsl, intricate and subtle sound designs, and cutting edge synth sounds. I'm excited to share this music with you, and hope that what I present is seen as an evocative, introspective trip through the lesser known areas of drum and bass.

I feel honored to share the limelight with all the other talented artists performing here, this will truly be a special evening and a great way to prepare for the Fire Lights Music and Arts Festival which is guaranteed to be a great time! Thank you for the opportunity Christopher Kikwa let's get all glitched out.

2 days until Bridge Cyberia and I couldn't be more excited. I've been digging for some of the hottest jungle tunes with them 420 vibes for quite a while now and can't wait to party with all of you!

Here's a lil snippet of what's to come. Several of my friends can't make it so I may possibly record the set, but I still think you should come cuz we gonna have a grand Ole time.

Join me as I explore the many flavors of jungle, let this mix take you on a journey from smooth and soulful pads, to the darkest gutters of the abyss, with a triumphant return to the club floor to dance away all your pains and sorrows. A wee bit of DnB, a healthy serving of Drumfunk, and lots of proper jungle, let's go!

@patrickkkkkkkkkkkkkk and I have been having jam sessions for quite a while now. I really dug the ideas he came up with and decided to arrange a track out of it to share with yinz. Really like how atmospheric dnb gives so much room to experiment with live instruments and hope we can come up with more and bring it to a stage in the near future 👀

I seldom share what I'm making and that has to stop. So here's a project I just wrapped up. A new pedalboard I designed and built from scratch. Swipe through the pictures to see a render and shop drawings I created to help me execute this design.

The board features a hidden power supply underneath as well as a patch bay with (8) 1/4" pass through jacks, 2 midi ports, and an IEC port that feeds the power supply.

My setup will probably evolve and change, but I currently have the wampler terraform operating in pre post with the gain stage in its loop. Secondly, I have the phaser in the timeline's effects loop. The big sky is last sending a lush stereo sound out to my interface.

A little late to post this but I've been really busy with work since. Wanted to thank everyone who made my birthday special this year. This year I got to explore a little bit of Linn Run then have a graffit/dj/cookout party and a week later am feeling so grateful for the memories ❤

Go see nature in the final days of the holocene while you still can. Every days a miracle and nothing teaches me that more than spending time in solitude surrounded by the forest. I went to Allegheny National Forest a couple weeks ago and already am trying to figure out when I can go back.

Heres a few timeless Thoreau quotes I've found that help guide and inspire me while I'm still here kicking.

"Not till we are lost, in other words not till we have lost the world, do we begin to find ourselves, and realize where we are and the infinite extent of our relations." - Henry David Thoreau

"Heaven is under our feet as well as over our heads."

"What is the use of a house if you haven't got a tolerable planet to put it on?"

I could go on for days sharing his wisdom. Stay alive and stay free, friends. by @ryebred.creates
