What an incredible State Leadership Conference. From meeting so many members, to launching our first-ever Battle of the Chapters, to placing top two in five events and winning three- this conference is something I’ll never forget. Moments like these are what make FBLA so special, and I’m so grateful to share it with all of you.

To the 2025-2026 State Officer Team, @murphylou39 @wyattrahm @danikafluth @emma.c2704 @a_konrad456 @dawsonhlavacek & @taylervetter, thank you for the most unforgettable year. I would not have wanted to serve as the State Reporter with anyone else. From the work we’ve done and the memories we’ve made, I’m proud of everything we accomplished, and even more grateful for the friendships that came from it.

To my chapter, friends, and family thank you for believing, pushing, and supporting me every step of the way. And to the members and advisers of South Dakota FBLA, thank you for trusting me as your next State President. It means more than I can put into words. I’m beyond hype for the opportunity to serve you and work alongside our new State Officer Team to make this year the best one yet. See you all in Texas!

Thank you, 2025, for such a great year!

These are a few of my favorite moments from my first full calendar year in FBLA, a year that has given me much more than I ever imagined. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities, lessons, and challenges that shaped this year. From serving as the SD State Reporter, my local chapter’s president, to representing our region as the National MPRC Programs Director, every step has helped me grow both as a leader and person. Most of all, I am thankful for the all of the friendships, advisers, teammates, and mentors I spent time with this year. I’m excited to carry everything into 2026 and ready for the best FBLA year yet! 🙌

“Impossible just means it hasn’t been done yet.”

Those words has guided me throughout this entire journey, and now they mean more than ever.

Two years ago, I joined FBLA with no idea where this organization would take me. Never in a million years did I imagine I would have the honor of serving as the first National Central Region Vice President. This opportunity truly means the world to me and I couldn’t be more grateful and excited to help lead the Central Region through its first year.

To Team 73 and Team 74, thank you for inspiring me to dream bigger than I ever thought possible. I’m honored to carry on your legacy of servant leadership as I join Team 75, and I can’t express how excited I am to serve alongside such an incredible group of leaders.

To Madilynn and Lyndi, thank you for your friendship through every moment, for believing in me, and making the best impact on my life.

To South Dakota FBLA, Milbank FBLA, Ms. Schubert, Nikki, my family, my campaign team, and everyone who has supported me along the way, thank you. Becoming South Dakota’s first National Officer is something I’ll never take for granted, and I wouldn’t be here without every one of you.

Happy FBLA Week! 🥳

For Make Your Mark Monday, I wanted to share a brief version of my FBLA story, so here it is! 👇

In 2024, I attended my first-ever FBLA conference at the South Dakota SLC with a friend and my principal, just to see if we wanted to start a chapter. We both loved leadership and had no idea what careers we wanted, and we quickly realized that FBLA was the perfect place for us!

By August, we launched Milbank FBLA, hosted an interest meeting, and suddenly had the opportunity to lead with 15 other people. I especially was interested in building our chapters presence and marketing our story, which is why I ran for State Reporter that year.

Over the next year came officer trainings, conferences, and a broken foot that slowed down athletics, but pushed me further into FBLA. At NLC, I had the honor of becoming a National Champion in a competitive event; one of my state’s first ever. Seeing my name appear on the pre-call screen with my chapter is still one of my favorite FBLA memories.

Since then, I’ve been serving as the Milbank Chapter President, South Dakota State Reporter, and a member on the Mountain Plains Region Council which gave me the opportunity to be SD’s first-ever NFLC attendee!

Looking back on these two years of learning, leading, and growing through FBLA, I can confidently say this organization has shaped who I am, and I wouldn’t trade these experiences for anything. 🙌
