Throwback to my self portrait from high school-

The things I’d tell her:
1. Trust the process, even when the path disappears around the bend. Not everything meant for you arrives on your timeline, but what is yours has a way of finding you.

2. Hold your true friends close. The people who celebrate your joy, sit with your sorrow, and remind you who you are are rare treasures.

3. Release anyone who repeatedly mistreats you. Not every battle deserves your energy. Choose peace—not because it’s easy, but because your heart deserves rest. Being alone is better than constantly being on edge.

4. Never suppress a generous thought. Send the kind message, offer the helping hand, speak the compliment aloud. Small acts of kindness leave lasting echoes.

5. And never stop doing the things that make you feel alive. Create, wander, laugh, learn, dance, dream. The things you love are often the truest compass you’ll ever have.

Life will teach you many lessons, but these are the ones I’d want you to carry gently in your pocket along the way. ✨
