I rarely do covers but this is one of my favorite, the song that got me into The Strokes who are my current musical fixation

Going back to my folk roots for the fall time, more R&B this winter. This one’s one I wrote a few months ago inspired somewhat by @whitneyband who are one of my favorite bands

Some raw s*** I wrote 15 minutes ago, usually I wouldn’t make this into a reel until it was more fleshed out but the moment itself felt pretty powerful so I wanted to preserve it. Also haven’t posted in a while so why not, SLFW acoustic edition coming out this week

2 new songs dropping tomorrow, first time releasing new music in a few years. The first one “She’s Like Fine Wine” is a happier, sunnier kind of love song. The second, “Cauliflower”, is an upbeat but melancholy post-breakup jam. Both have some of my favorite moments on my debut album “Throes of Passion, Echoes of Love” dropping later in the month.

The two singles reflect the overall theme of the album. The highs and lows, the good and the bad, everything from the blissful feeling of falling in love to the heartbreak and realization that the person you loved has moved on.

I recorded these songs between 2019 and 2022 but for one reason or another, didn’t release them until now. Hopefully by the end of the year not only will Throes be out, but new more current music as well.

Big shoutout to @analogapproach for engineering the album, giving great production advice, and putting up with my shenanigans during the recording process. Shoutout to @tadbeats for a lot of help with keyboards and production as well. Shoutout @bonebox_illu for this beautiful album cover, and as always shoutout to @nategmixedit for mixing and mastering the album, helping make my vision come true, and being my best friend. Hope you enjoy the music and thank you for listening by @rylvnd21

Wrote this this morning inspired by a progression @_lucaspereyraa posted a while ago, the chords remind me of an anime outro, warm but wistful. I tried to capture that feeling in the lyrics and melody as well…
