Ciao RYSERS! 🌍

Something big is happening in Europe right now, and most people have no idea.
The EU is preparing legislation that could fundamentally change how products are made, used and recovered. It’s called the Circular Economy Act. And it might just be the most important sustainability story you haven’t heard yet.
Not because it’s scary. But because it’s proof that the conversation has shifted, that enough people pushed long enough and hard enough that circularity moved from the margins to the center of industrial policy.
This one will change how you think about what you buy, what you build, and what you let go. 💚

RYSITshine, guys! 🌞

Did you know New York is rebuilding an ecosystem that disappeared more than a century ago?

Thanks to the @billionoyster , millions of #oysters are returning to New York Harbor on reefs built from recycled shells collected from local restaurants.

The impact goes far beyond oysters. A single oyster can naturally filter gallons of water each day, while healthy reefs create habitat for fish, crabs, mussels, and countless other marine species.

It’s a beautiful reminder that restoration doesn’t always begin with something new. Sometimes, it begins by giving nature the chance to do what it has always done best.

When we restore nature, nature has an incredible way of restoring itself.

Ciao! 🌊🦪💙

Nature wastes nothing. Everything becomes something else. 💚♻️♥️

Maybe that’s one of #Nature’s greatest lessons.

Our latest RYSIT blog explores how composting transforms everyday scraps into something that nourishes the Earth, reminding us that even the smallest actions can become part of something much bigger.

We at RYSIT are always looking for new ways to see our planet; and sometimes, that perspective becomes personal.
NASA’s Landsat interactive allows you to enter your name and see it formed through real landscapes across Earth, using satellite imagery from around the world.
A small reminder that even the most familiar things can be found in unexpected places.
Explore it at science.nasa.gov, you may never look at your name the same way again.

and Happy Earth Month 🌎🌍🌏

Today we want to share the hope of #perspective.
Sometimes it takes leaving our planet to truly see it. Artemis @nasaartemis brought us back to Earth.

When we were shown the stunning images of our #planet, something remarkable happened:
for one quiet moment, millions of people saw the same truth at once.

No borders.
No politics.
No division.

Just one luminous world suspended in darkness ♥️.

One fragile atmosphere holding every ocean, every forest, every species, and every one of us.

And with a woman on board traveling farther than any woman in history, the mission became a symbol of how far humanity can go, and just how deeply connected we remain to home.

While questions remain about the environmental footprint and priorities of missions like this, the viewpoint that Artemis returned may be exactly what inspires more thoughtful stewardship here at home.

Maybe, that’s the real gift of perspective: the farther we go, the more clearly we remember what has always been ours to care for.
Ciao!

Happy #EarthMonth 💙💚🤎

We usually talk about innovation, positive breakthroughs, and hopeful stories for people and the planet, but today, it feels important to talk about what’s holding everything together.
There are moments in history when caring feels inconvenient. When it’s easier to harden, to disengage, to look away.
But this is exactly when it matters the most.
Awareness takes strength. It’s the choice to remain awake to what’s happening, to what’s at stake, to one another.
Every meaningful change that has ever endured began this way: with people who refused to let go of their care, their humanity.
Not because it was easy. But because it was necessary. It sustains pressure without breaking. It reshapes the future quietly, even while noise fills the present.
Showing up takes many forms: Sometimes it’s quiet Sometimes it’s visible And sometimes, it means standing firm when stepping back would be easier.
What matters is not how care looks, but that it is not abandoned.
And when enough people refuse to let go, change doesn’t disappear.
It advances.
This is how progress begins.
Lets keep Caring
Lets keep RYSING

Technology is being celebrated for its role in repairing damaged coral reefs. But some of the most hopeful solutions are emerging where art and nature are working together.
Artist Jason deCaires Taylor @jasondecairestaylor created the world’s first underwater museum where he creates sculptures which turn art into living marine habitats.
They are designed to become artificial reefs, made from ocean-safe materials that invite coral, algae, and marine life to grow directly on them. Over time, these beautiful sculptures disappear into the ecosystem and nature takes over.
Around the world, artists, architects, and marine scientists are imagining creative solutions to protect coastlines and rebuild damaged seas. From living shorelines to nature based design, it’s art mixed with science. And it’s proof that creativity can help ecosystems recover.

Feliz Día de los Muertos 💀🌼🕯️

Every fall, while many carve pumpkins, Mexico celebrates something far more soulful, Día de los Muertos. A time when spirits return, families reconnect, and nature feels alive again.

You can dive deeper into its meaning on our latest blog, the link’s in our bio-site.

Día de los Muertos reminds us that nothing in nature truly disappears, it transforms, giving life again and again.

This Halloween, let’s take a closer look at some of the creatures that might seem spooky at first, Spiders, Bats, and Owls. The creatures we fear are often the ones keeping our planet in balance.

Let’s look past the webs and you’ll find one of nature’s most efficient pest controllers. Spiders! Naturally protecting crops without chemicals.

Far from frightening, bats are nature’s nighttime gardeners, pollinating, spreading seeds, and restoring balance.

And owls? They’re the quiet guardians of the night, controlling rodent populations and keeping ecosystems thriving.

So this Halloween, let’s celebrate the ‘spooky’ creatures who keep our world in check.

Happy Halloween and let’s RYSIT!

For the first time ever, this year, renewable energy has outpaced coal, a milestone powered by wind and sun. And thousands of miles away, Chile’s Atacama Desert is bursting into rare bloom after long awaited rains with over 200 species of wildflowers painting the desert in color. The seldom rain and bloom is a naturally occurring cycle not linked to climate change. Two different stories, same spirt: possibility. When the right conditions align, new life and new hope can flourish 🌺🌻🌸.

RYSIT Shine, Guys 🌞

#Empathy, #love, and fairness aren’t just human.

	1.	#Chimpanzees perform first aid on one another-cleaning each other’s wounds.

	2.	#Otters use tools — keeping a favorite rock in a little pouch under its arm to open shellfish.

	3.	#SeaTurtles return to the exact same beach where they were born-sometimes traveling thousands of miles to lay their own eggs.

	4.	#Wolves show fairness in experiments, refusing cooperation if another wolf receives fewer treats for the same task.

	5.	#Trees communicate through underground networks, sharing nutrients to help each other thrive.

	6.	#Bees vote democratically on new hive locations, ensuring the whole colony is heard.

	7.	#Dogs MRI’s show that when they look at us, their brain lights up with the same joy as being in love.

When we show empathy to animals and nature, we understand our own interconnectedness. Dr. Jane Goodall’s breakthrough wasn’t just in science, it was in empathy. And as she reminded us:

“Only if we understand, can we care. Only if we care, will we help. Only if we help, we shall be saved.”
Dr Jane Goodall

Thank you, Dr. Jane ♥️🕊️

We at RYSIT give so much gratitude to Dr. Jane Goodall. She showed us that wonder can change the world. She proved that science and compassion belong together and, through her understanding of empathy, from her groundbreaking work with primates to inspiring generations of budding activists, we learned that we can all stand up for our environment with grace.

We will carry her work forward in the everyday things we do: from planting, protecting, and sharing, to embodying the belief that small acts, multiplied, can change everything.

Dr. Goodall reminded us that to save our planet is not just an act of science, but an act of love. Her legacy is not only in the forests she protected or the lives she inspired, but in the enduring call she leaves behind: to live with purpose, humility, and hope. May we honor her by becoming better stewards of this Earth, together.

Thank you, Dr. Goodall. Rest in peace ♥️🕊️
