i realized i’ve been sharing pieces of my life here for some time, but i’ve never really introduced myself.

so, hey friends!!! i’m gabriella.

i’m someone who has always been captivated by the simple things…the smiles of my sweet children, the soft rays of the sun, birds singing, the smell of the air after it rains, the way a walk through the forest can become a moment of devotion + prayer.

for a long time, i searched outside of myself for answers. life brought seasons that cracked me wide open through health challenges, uncertainty, loss, grief and growth. looking back, it was those exact challenges that ultimately led me back home.

over the past few years, i’ve had the privilege of deepening this path through study. i graduated from a master’s program in ayurveda, completed my internship this past month and finished my 200 hour yoga teacher training. what a ride it has been!

more than anything, these experiences deepened my reverence for the wisdom of nature, the intelligence of the human body and the art of living in harmony with both.

today, my greatest passion is supporting people on their journey back home to themselves. to live with more presence, to trust their bodies, to see the sacred woven into ordinary moments and to remember that life itself can become a ritual when we move through it with love and intention.

outside of my work, you’ll usually find me wandering through the woods, by the waters, exploring, cooking, reading, being silly, spending time with loved ones, dancing, singing or sitting quietly in gratitude for this magnificent life.

lately, i’m feeling called to step more fully into this space and share more of my life, what lights me up and everything i’ve learned and continue to learn along the way.

i’m so grateful our paths have crossed. thank you for being here.

s u n d a y.

found myself thinking about just how deeply blessed I am to have access to nourishing fresh whole foods filled with so much vibrant prana. what a gift it is to care for oneself and others each day. to be able to prepare meals with much love and intention…

for me cooking is not a chore, its a sacred sadhana. a daily practice of service, love, self-care, gratitude and reverence for life.

feeling deeply supported, abundant and grateful. this is true wealth not measured by shiny things but by the privilege of life itself. the little mundane acts though out our day that hold much magic, if one is willing to seek it.

nourishing and honouring our divine vessels and living in harmony with nature’s bountiful gifts, what a blessing.

my heart overflows with much gratitude.

what are you grateful for today?

• ashwagandha •

one of the herbs i continue to come back to again and again. not because it’s trendy, but because it feels deeply grounding, nourishing and supportive in a world that asks so much from our nervous systems.

in ayurveda, ashwagandha has traditionally been used to help restore strength + resilience during demanding seasons of life and after periods of depletion, physically, mentally and emotionally.

i think so many people these days are running on empty without even realizing it. constant stimulation, stress, rushing, overthinking, carrying so much…eventually the body starts asking for rest + support.

what i appreciate most about ashwagandha is that it feels grounding, steady and supportive without the feeling of over stimulation. it helps build resilience, boosts the mind while also regulating better sleep patterns.

herbs are not magic potions, i mean at times for certain emergencies they could be, but in this context what I’m meaning to say is that they just don’t erase all of our struggles….sorry darlings! we are still required to slow down, turn inward, look at our life’s entire landscape and do the deeper work. but i do believe plants carry a sacred wisdom that help our bodies remember there true natural state of balance + connection to source ⟔

id love to know, have you ever worked with ashwagandha before?

If you’re looking for support, 1:1 guidance is available! I’m here to walk with you and help support the process, while the body does what it does best, working its way back to balance ⟔

in ayurveda, cleansing is a conversation with our body’s own intelligence. the body isn’t seen as toxic or broken, it’s constantly adapting to how WE live.

when imbalance builds the goal is not attack but to create conditions where the body can naturally let go and release.

this is why an ayurvedic cleanse is structured in 3 phases:

1. preparation: (preparing the system to release) before anything is removed, we work to loosen. in ayurveda, ama is described as sticky. if you try to force it out, it can shift unpredictably or overwhelm elimination channels. so first we kindle digestion with warmth, oil and simplicity to loosen what is held, this phase is important and one that sets it apart from other cleanses.

2. elimination: (supporting natural pathways) elimination happens through the channels it naturally prefers, digestion, bowels, skin, breath, lymph. here we bring in an easily digestible meal of kitchari and depending on the individual, herbs to support the body in doing what it naturally knows how to do.

3. rebuilding: this is also another aspect that differs from other cleanses. many focus on removal and often skip the rebuilding phase (or just leave it up to you to figure out). after release, the system can be vulnerable, tissues more open and energy at times, unstable. this final phase is also essential. nourishment, grounding foods that are lighy and easy to digest, routine and nervous system regulation help the body integrate the shift.

the deeper principle of ayurveda is about restoring the natural intelligent flow that already lives and breaths inside of you✨

(cleansing can look different for everyone in ayurveda, it really depends on the individual. how we move through each phase can vary accordingly) by @rythmsayurveda

there is something about this time of year that naturally brings up the desire for a reset.

a return to your centre.
a desire to feel more balanced.

a sense that things may have built up and could use a gentle clearing almost like a spring clean for the mind + body + soul.

spring often brings the urge to ā€œclean things upā€ but it doesn’t need to be extreme or complicated and honestly, it shouldn’t be. our role is to support the body in doing what it already knows how to do, bringing itself back into balance in a steady, natural way.

if you’re feeling ready for a reset and want guidance on how to do it in a safe and supportive way, feel free to reach out or book a 1:1 session through the link in bio.

the idea that ayurveda is just another ā€œholistic systemā€ is a myth ⟔

because ayurveda is not something we use, it’s something we actually LIVE.

it’s a way of being in relationship with our body, our environment…our entire life.

long before symptoms show up, the body is always communicating in subtler ways. through shifts in energy, digestion, mood, sleep, skin, cycle…

ayuveda teaches us how to listen and become the observer of our own life. not only at the point of crisis, but in the everyday.

and yes, ayurveda absolutely holds the wisdom to support the body through dis-ease when and if it arises.

BUT, it’s true power isn’t only in how it treats imbalance.

it’s in how it teaches us to LIVE so imbalance has less space to take root.

it becomes a daily relationship:

with self + others
with our rhythm
our nourishment
our rest
our play
our joy
our life
how we move with seasons…

over time, these choices become a protective layer.

they regulate the nervous system, support digestion (not just of food but all life experiences) and create a sense of inner stability + peace.

this is what sustains TRUE health.

a lifestyle that not only allows the body to easily restore balance but helps us remain within that subtle natural rhythm, that gentle ebb and flow of life itself ⟔

in ayurveda, spring is the season of clearing.

as the weather warms up, the heaviness of winter begins to melt and this can leave us feeling sluggish, congested, or a bit out of balance.

a cleanse helps the body release what it no longer needs while returning to a state of lightness + flow.

harsh cleanses aren’t necessary. the body responds best to gentle consistent care and simplicity.

this is a time to lighten and not deplete. a time to support and not restrict.

a simple 3-5 day kitchari cleanse is a beautiful way to support the body’s natural ability to release.

simple, nourishing practices go a long way.

• kitchari to reset digestion
• warm, spiced teas to support elimination + gentle detoxification
• dry brushing + warm oil massage
• early mornings + daily movement

cleansing isn’t always suitable for everyone at every stage. signs like extreme low energy, medical conditions, old age/young age, or general weakness are important to consider. doing a cleanse under these circumstances can actually stress the body and cause more strain. always honor where you are.

if you’re interested in a spring reset but aren’t sure where to start, how to implement it, or if it’s even the right time for you, book a 1:1 consultation through the link in bio.

spring isn’t just a change in weather, it’s a shift inside.

in ayurveda, kapha season asks us to soften the heavy energies that may have accumulated. emotions, habits, old patterns may rise to the surface, leaving you feeling a little sluggish, unfocused, or extra sensitive. your body + mind are asking for movement, release and lightness.

spring is the season of awakening. your energy naturally shifts this time of year inviting you to let go of what no longer serves in order to make space for clarity, vitality and alignment.

here’s how to work with the energy of the spring season:

	• listen to your body, movement is needed to shake off heaviness but dont forget to honour the call for rest when it arises
	• step outside, breathe fresh air, soak up morning sunlight
	• favor warm, light, spiced foods that awaken your digestion + senses
	• create joyful + uplifting daily rituals to reconnect with your energy

spring isn’t about doing more or fixing. it’s really just about clearing out the old, flowing with your rhythm + nature’s rhythm and meeting yourself with love, care awareness.
