A year ago, I never imagined that we would end up standing on top of Mt. Fuji — the highest mountain in Japan.
I’m so grateful that we had the chance to make this experience a reality, and even more grateful to have friends like these by my side through every step of the journey.
The climb was tough, exhausting, and unforgettable, but that’s exactly what made reaching the top feel so special.
Some moments become memories.
Some memories become treasures for life.
This one will definitely be a lifetime treasure. 🗻🇯🇵
So grateful for the mountain, the journey, and most of all, the people I got to share it with.

And by the way happy birthday to Sam and Nick 😘

Already at an altitude of 1300 on the way to 5th station.

First km to the summit

Memorial treasures

Gyu-don at 7th station!

Stamps stamps stamps… the most expensive thing at the mountain in my opinion 🫠

Thanks to my efforts I have done before the hike, I didn’t suffer much🥰

Climbing with 2 American space force and retired army, what am I scared of😂

The trail to the summit was so jammed with hikers.

Sunrise made me feel grateful to be live on time.

So, that’s a wrap for TOJ 2026.

This year, thanks to the connection I made with @mathiasbregnhoj last year, and with the support of the TSG team and Sharon, the team’s media manager, I was able to contribute by taking photos and cheering for the team.

Over these two days, I worked hard toward my goal of capturing great photos, editing them, and successfully delivering them to the team. It was an incredibly enjoyable experience, and it gave me a fresh challenge and new motivation.

Watching the riders up close—their heavy breathing, their determination as they fought their way up the climbs—was truly inspiring. Seeing their effort reminded me that any obstacle can be overcome. It also made me realize once again how much I want more people to discover this amazing sport.

Being able to spend even a small amount of time working alongside the team is something I will remember for the rest of my life.

I hope to continue supporting international professional teams when they come to Japan. If any overseas team ever needs a photographer, local support, or someone to help them navigate Japan, feel free to get in touch!

Thank you, @terengganucyclingteam and the all riders who participated TOJ!
