New reel day 2025! Two years of hard work. Outside of the two features, which I cannot yet share, these are some of my favourite shots from select works. Completed my biggest challenge yet as a developing cinematographer. 15 shooting days in an abrasive, remote location. I was physically and mentally pushed to a new limit, and could not be more proud of and grateful for the experience.

This is my first major piece of long form content and am stoked to eventually share it all.

I am so thankful for the wonderful people that brought me on to this project, and for all the wonderful people that carried me and supported me when I need em most.

You all rule.

Feeling incredibly grateful looking back on R.L. Stine’s Pumpkinhead this past summer.

Huge thanks to @jemgarrard our director — your trust, vision, and collaboration made this such a rewarding project.

It was such a unique pleasure and challenge shaping this world along side you from conception to execution.

Thank you to @james.mattagne, @tozer19
@sara_irvine_erickson for the constant support, problem-solving, and belief in the team. With limited resources and continuous challenges it took so much flexibility and focus to achieve a final result that I couldn’t be more proud of.

And of course, endless appreciation for our crew — an absolutely stellar group who showed up every day with creativity, grit, and professionalism. Your hard work, teamwork, and attention to detail are all over the screen. Special thanks to the beastly steadicam work of Max Brey who made every sequence better and displayed a disgusting amount of skill and stamina while doing so.

Our short film, Echo, just premiered Saturday. Such an engrossing challenge exploring the psychology of the characters. Isolation, frustration and denial represented with bleak frames and bold colours. It was a pleasure working with such an inspired and passionate team. Thanks for trusting me with the story and thank you to our amazing crew!

Queen of the Underworld

This project is close to my heart. Steph approached me somewhere between 2020-2021 to see if I wanted to collaborate on an idea. It was almost nothing then. An out-of-focus iota. I shared my personal experiences with sleep paralysis, along with some of my fears, and repressed achings of loss/grief. Steph began writing. We cultivated this concept, and our creative partnership grew stronger. We collaborated on a Crazy 8s. We met Nic. We continued to push. We were told no. We were denied grants.

Then it clicked. And here we are. The catharsis I felt days after watching these scenes come to life was like nothing else I’ve experienced in a sober state.

I could not be more proud or grateful to everyone that made this possible. To Nic and Steph for believing we could bring this to life. To Morgan who brought to life this character and with it so much of my past.

The community that came together to realize this story I am nothing short of awestruck by.

Homies @unbearable_aightness_of_being, @shakilatattoo and I developed this surrealist concept inspired by the music and musings of @stavwhite //

The song: “The Flowers of Destruction” speaks to the paradoxes of love, relationships, elation, euphoria, and their shadowy counterparts in self-sabotage, entropy, addiction, codependency, and pattern repetition. It’s an inspiring track, and was fun to develop some dark visual metaphors to help explore the themes in the music. Here are some of my fav frames.

This was such a stacked team to be a part of. Thanks yall for trusting me with this precious little gem. Some pretty ambitious images to put together over the span of 1 and a half days. Go figure, this is the first spec commercial I've ever done. A week of intense planning, and one of tightest and most seamless executions I've ever been a part of. Also fun as hell. Can't say I was stressed for one second on this set. Stoked to share this with everyone.
