Wiring part 3. It never ends!!
Made a master kill switch for the @warnindustries winch. Found some extra aluminum in the shop, took measurements, tapped, checked measurements, pretty straight forward. I believe the holes I used in the front were existing, no drilling was involved.

Wiring. Wish I could say it was straight forward but sometimes you’re given too much (wiring) and gotta find space to tuck it into, while sometimes there’s not enough. Considering it’s all going under the tray, it was a trial & test to see how we can make things fit and where we want relays so that they’re available in case we gotta fix things in the wild. Oh yea, and having enough places to Mount ground wires. Easiest thing was knowing all the wires gotta end up under the steering wheel.
Extra fuses were made so we dont short anything along with having to drill some bigger holes or shave the end tabs to fit in the Blue Sea. Lastly, finding which fuses worked and always carry extra in the rig!!

Just some wiring Part 1
Didn’t want use the switches that come with the @bajadesigns in case I take a kneecap to it and bust it. Went down to Pratt Electric and found some that would be a little more flush.

Overall happy with placement and how it looks.

Did some spring cleaning and found 2 new foam pads for the Yakima mounts. Found some 3M laying around and made 2 more. Wonder how long these will last.

Blue Sea wiring harness for the lumens!! & winch.

Can’t go wrong with Blue Sea! At first I was gonna mount it to the fuse box cover, as you can see from my tape marks, but realized it’s not such a good idea if I run into issues where I gotta get in there later. Found some scrap metal and did a little DIY mounting system for the electrical.

I’m lagging, sorry!! Front bumper is on!!
No big issues with install besides having to remove a few things. @c4_fabrication did a great job with their installation video. Also had to retro fit the tranny cooler and the brackets that hold the @fox DSC reservoirs which gotta mount outside the bumper.

Got all the @bajadesigns lights bolted in but only the fogs wired up, which is plug and go! Everything else will wired up safely which you’ll see in the next posts.

Also installed the @tacomabeaast headlights. Still wish they had the LED available still.

Did a few trials on how I can get the Onx6 to be as straight and flush with the bumper. Don’t buy cheap bolts!! I think I took a total of 4 trips to local hardware store. But it’s fitting pretty nicely now, and yea it’s def right up against the Warn winch!

Sorry, been super busy with other things so I haven’t been posting. Bumper came in.. had it powder coated without test fitting everything. Turned out that the onX6 is not the correct light that fits in the bumper LED bar cut out. Fun!!

So here’s what it looked like and next few post will be on what I had to do to retro fit the bumper and light bar, and install.

Tracked down a ‘hard to find’ A1 Tower Spacer kit for the @yakimaracks Load Warrior and cut them down so it can sit flush with the @frontrunneroutfitters rack. Thoughts?
